leaf went up to the stallion happily. she nickered gently to him and nudged his shoulder. " hello. " she nickered, happy to feel the pressence of another horse near her. her brown eyes were happy, and her tail flicked snow off of her flank. " i am maple leaf. call me leaf." she said happily.

Strike of Angred wolf nickered softly "So where did you live before this? A lone mare? Herd? Or with people?" He said as he looked up and touched his nose to her mane to get her scent then pulled back respecting her space he flicked his tail nibbling on grass

leaf shook the snow off of her. she nuzzled his shoulder happily. a stallion would protect her. a stallion would keep her safe through the winter. a stallion was what she needed. and seeing she had recently lost her stillborn filly, she needed a stallion more than ever. her herd had been seperated from her. she was alone. at least. she was until now. shura. a handsome painted clydesdale.

He shook his mane out and dug through the snow, searching for grass. He hoped winter would be over soon. He now had a lead mare. He was content. He flicked his tail and nosed her

leaf nuzzled him. then she looked to the nearby forest. she nudged him then trotted towards there, clearly leading him there, and then stopping in the trees. she started stripping bark from the trees quietly. she was taught by her mother to always go to the forest in the cold, to eat the bark from trees.

Shura followed her and stood under the trees. It felt like it would snow more but he wasnt sure. he looked around at the white landscape. He enjoys the snow. To him it was beautiful. Everything looked pure
