Tᵃᵍˢ :: Nati, HaloThe sorrel mustang was trying her best to keep calm as the coyotes swarmed in. She kicked one behind her, and rolled when another lunged onto her withers. Dante was doing her best to fend them off, hoping to keep her friend and her beloved filly safe. Another grasped her underbelly, and she screeched, immediately dropping to the ground, crushing it beneath her, before rolling to her side and thrashing at those trying to get her while she was down. Soon she was up on her feet again, bleeding from several areas, but nothing major. She'd injured several, and it seemed they were beginning to disperse. The mare almost smiled with pride, until she noticed they were all heading towards a downed mare. Nati. And she ran forward, biting at the wild hounds and desperately trying to remove them from her friend. "Nati! No! Hold on, I've got them! You can do this Nati stay calm, please! For me, for--" That was when she realized Halo wasn't with her. And Dante heard her cry out, and her blood ran cold. At that same time, Nati said her last words, before a coyote cut off her life. Permanently. And by god if Halo wasn't in danger right now, Dante would have fallen to her knees and broke down crying. But she couldn't. Not with Halo still desperately clinging onto her life. Nati loves you. She understands, now save her baby. The words were running through her head as guilt began to overwhelm her, and she ran towards Halo, neighing loudly. "Don't you dare touch her!" She snapped, slamming her front hooves down onto the dogs dragging her, hearing a satisfying crack as their spines snapped. Dante proceeded to kick and bite those still aiming for the filly, though many were now going for her dead friend. And while she would normally have tried to keep them from defiling the body, she knew she couldn't. She had to save Halo. That was Nati's dying wish. "Halo, baby come on now. Get up, I'll get you out of here. Please, I know you're in pain but you've got to do this for me, okay?" Her eyes were filled with tears and her voice with desperation, but she was doing everything in her power to stay strong and save the filly's life. She nudged the foal encouragingly, hoping she would stand up and hobble off with Dante. "Please get up, we need to go sweetie."Nᵃᵐᵉ :: Pandora

Tᵃᵍˢ :: LuciferWhat was wrong with her? Besides being this alluring temptress, why was she playing this game with such a dangerous opponent? They were equally matched in both wits and charm, and it would be by very little that one of them would win. But it seemed with the uttering of her creation's name, she'd won. He was putty in her hooves, a mess of fur and bones ready at her command. Normally this is where she would get up and leave, fully satisfied with the win in the game of wits. But this time, she stood in place. She felt no need to leave, no need to run away with the pleasure of having rendered a stallion to nothing but a babbling mess. Quite the opposite, actually. Pandora stood in place, quivering with excitement as the dappled stallion's pelt brushed against hers, causing a most delicious friction. Never once had she allowed a stallion to mount her, yet she was letting this one, this handsome devil, court her. And she didn't fight it, she didn't argue or even shift away. "Oh, my darling Lucifer." She practically purred as he finalized that he, in fact, was hers. He didn't own her. He was tied to her. Pandora owned him, controlled him, and now they were together. From now until the end of time. And to make that fact final, she shifted her tail aside for him, something she'd never done for any stallion before. "Then take me as your own, Lucifer." She'd used that same alluring tone as she had done previously, and continued to use it as she repeated his name. {{timeskip}} The mouse gray Arabian now rested her head lazily across his back, gently grooming him. His pelt didn't seem nearly as sweaty as her own, and she couldn't help but mentally chuckle at the fact. At one point she'd actually asked if she'd paid her debt in full yet... But that's a story for another time. Now, however long later, she stood beside her stallion, fully satisifed and fairly content. Mind you, none of this was out of love. It was lust. Savage, hormonal lust. So wrong, and yet so fitting for the devilish pair. Pandora doubted she'd ever find love, she had far too much fun flirting and working her charm... though now, she coudn't really do that, could she? She was technically tied down now, to one stallion. And while earlier, the whole 'from now until the end of time' thing seemed alright, the mare found herself mulling over the idea. Well, let's see. No more flirting and toying with other stallions. No more playing my little mind games. The thoughts saddned her a bit. But, he's a fantastic fantastic lover, minus there being any love. He's submitted himself to me, in exchange for using one another as needed. Not bad. She was beginning to feel better about this. Not only that, but we're practically perfect together. Not as a couple, but overall. We're a match made in the deepest pits of hell. Yup. Pandora was definitely alright with being tied down to Luci. "How are you faring, my dear?" The word 'dear' had no feelings attached to it, and was only meant as another name to refer to the stallion as. She wouldn't be cruel and use the derogatory term 'pet', and she would only use his name during their little rendezvous.Nᵃᵐᵉ :: Tsunami

What happened between her father and Honey, was their own business, none of hers. She kept an eye out for any dangers, knowing that the lovestruck pairing were far too involved in catching up to really pay attention to anything. And then Death called out her name, and the painted mare turned, cocking an ear. She listened to him, emotionless, and opened her mouth to argue that it would be best for Honey to lead. But considering the look on Death's face, and Honey announcing that she was in labor, Nami kept her mouth shut. She listened to the Arabian mare's advice, before nodding in agreement, and returning her nudge just before she went to birth. Tsunami then turned to her step-father, and sighed. "Come on old man. She said she'll catch up to us." The younger mare teased her step-father, before trotting towards the forest Honey had gone to. If they found shelter there, then the soon-to-be mother would have an easier time finding them. Not only that, but the forests were typically quiet enough for anyone to relax in. And knowing all of them could use a day or two off, it seemed like a perfect plan. So Nami lead the way to new grounds, calling out, "Last one to the forest is a rotten apple!"Nᵃᵐᵉ :: Lune de Miel

And the hole in her heart had grown double in size, and had demanded to be filled. It had healed some once she'd become pregnant. And it was near completely healed when she reunited with the love of her life, Death, but it wasn't right. She didn't want Fiasco's foal. She wanted Death's foal. She wanted another pitch black foal who looked just like their father, with the heart of their mother... Honey stayed close to her beloved stallion as he mourned the loss of Shinigami. She pressed a muzzle to his neck and kept it there, gently rubbing the skin in a soothing way. When he stood again, stating his plot for revenge, the flaxen chestnut couldn't help but sigh. "There's no need, my love. Fiasco is nothing but the past, now. I have you again, and--" The mare winced with pain as a contraction swept through her. The next one was far more powerful, and somehow she managed to stay on her feet. It was time. The foal was coming. She pressed her muzzle ever so lovingly to Death's, and allowed their eyes to meet. "I'll return soon. I promise." And she turned, heading towards Nami and giving her a gentle nudge. "Move the herd somewhere safe. I'll find you guys." Tᵃᵍˢ :: HerdNow that the herd was out of harm's way, Apocalypse could relax. Somewhat. As lead, she never had a vacation day. She was always on high alert, watching over the herd while Tidal took care of his own duties. And she always had to be on her toes, ready to move the herd whenever things seemed to be getting rough or when their scent was starting to stick. Thankfully, they'd only just moved, and she didn't feel threatened. She stood by her herdmates, specifically Nowi, and gently groomed the mare. She was enjoying the lazy affection and the peace which surrounded them, up until Tidal came over and decided he was going to play with fire. At first, Apocalypse paid him little attention, simply giving him a glance before rolling her eyes, and resuming to groom the other mare. But then he said they looked 'fuzzy and fat', and Apocalypse raised a brow, and turned her full attention to him. "Oh really?" She asked, a smirk growing on her lips before she took a step forward. "Do you really want to play that game? We outnumber you." The black Morab said, glancing back to the other mares and giving them a wink. Just as she turned back, she caught a glance of a full moon, and she nearly snorted with laughter. No matter what he did, Tidal never ceased to amaze her. He was always so dorky and cheeky, and well, she cared for him. A lot. He gave her a warm fuzzy feeling inside and made her happy. She refused to call it love, but you can all assume that's what it is. Just when the mare was going to lurch forward and give him a nip on the rump for taunting them all like that, he moved off, having found a new potential herd mate. With a plan in mind to get him back, she resumed her lead duties, moving amongst the herd and keeping on high alert for any threats. Tᵃᵍˢ :: Open"Why I oughtta geld that stallion!" The mare shouted angrily, as she moved at a slow trot towards the main valley. It was now late fall, and it was growing rather chilly at this time. The lovely Pintabian mare Lunatic, who'd only recently joined up with a younger bachelor, was on her own yet again. Not that she was completely helpless or anything, but with winter coming, she'd prefer to have a herd to huddle up with. Plus, more eyes to see any threats during big snowstorms. "The one time I ever trust a younger stallion as my own and what do I get? Abandoned. The nerve of some--!" Yup, she was still shouting. At who? Probably the stallion who'd left her, though it was clear he was nowhere in sight. So she was pretty much shouting angrily at air right now. "I mean who does he think he is? I'm dropdead gorgeous, I have more than enough experience to run a herd, and he just... ugh!" Her ears were pinned and with every statement made, she kicked out her back hooves, as if to strike at the nonexistant stallion. She was angry. Scratch that, she was irked beyond belief. Tᵃᵍˢ :: OpenThe lead's reaction was priceless, and overall fueled Insanity to pester her more, drive for an even better reaction. But it seemed that the mare was suddenly afflicted, by who knows what as she took off into the trees. The Pintabian mare snorted, satisfied, and shuffled through the herd, glancing over all of her new herd members. And she scoffed, having come into realization that well, there was no other competition. Really. The only thing that stood in her way was that uptight lead mare, everyone else was obviously below her in ranking. And while that much please her, Insanity wouldn't be fully satisfied until everyone, including Karma was ranked beneath her. Second place just simply wouldn't do. After thorough examination of her new herd, Insanity settles in to graze. Just as she does, though, that stuck-up lead mare returns... with an extra set of legs? It takes a second before the paint realizes that, ah, she had a newborn by her side. And she smirks. Would the lead risk her life, as well as her foal's, to keep her position? Insanity ponders the scenario. Hmm... attack her now when she's weak, and put her newborn in the middle of it... if she were smart she'd back down, realizing her colt could be severly injured or worse... She glances back to the ebony pair, and sighs. As dominant and prideful as she was, she just wasn't cruel. She could never harm a foal. This wasn't an issue that should involve an innocent newborn, it was between her and his dam. So she stayed in place, grazing, her tail occasionally flicking back and forth. Tᵃᵍˢ :: Cerberus, Jokull, NakiahWhile his ally courted the lovely mare he'd met, Gator stood quietly off to the side, allowing the pair their space. He blocked out whatever they were saying and focused solely on grazing. Occasionally his mind would drift back to the mares he missed so dearly, but he forced himself to forget about it. He wasn't a weak stallion. He was caring, but he needed to move on. Or at least try. Yes, he loved his girls with all of his heart. The spunky Doe. The quiet Half-Moon. And the gorgeous, smart Allayo. But it seemed he had no chance of regaining them, at least not any time soon. It seemed that after his brother stole the herd, they'd all vanished off the face of the earth. Gone. Without a trace. He hadn't seen or heard from them since. Gator's thoughts were quickly interrupted when an angel fell from the sky. Or, seemingly fell from the sky. And it wasn't really an angel, though, she could easily be thought of as one. A lovely spotted mare had slipped down the hillside, and was now yelling something... something he couldn't quite make out. Whatever she was saying was none of his concern, though, as he slowly turned and trotted towards her, head low to show he was no threat. If anything, she would complain about his involvement in any and all social matters that occurred within their lands. As the oldest and wisest, he seemed to take on the sole responsibility of dealing with many matters. She knew he had allies, connections really, all over, and it seemed that he was always there to bail his buddies out of trouble. Which was fine, of course. A good stallion and a man loyal to his word. What about that could she not like? The only issue with it was she was often left alone to watch the herd. A simple task, nothing she couldn't handle, but she didn't appreciate that he always left when they were in the busiest section of the valley. There were so many stallions, all capable of snaking a mare without a lead to chase them off. And while Vega could easily outrun any stallion and keep her herd safe, she was one to stick by the 'no man left behind' rule, meaning she didn't like leaving without Titan knowing where she was going. But she sighed, nonetheless as he took off to involve himself in another dispute. With that, she turned to his yearling daughter and smiled. Maybe it was time to get to know her better. "So Estella." She began, walking over to the young filly. "Are you happy to be back with your father?"
