{{Waiting on posts from Mirror, Grapejuice, and Sorakami.

Lol hazah! I have posted xD

@Faith - All I know is that Titan is over with Pyro's herd (Titan and Pyro are now brothers) to help fight off some bachelors and is currently fighting with Soldier. My young filly Nic is over with Gary, both of which are currently running around near Pandemic's herd. The rest of my horses are on hold while I wait for replies.

Tᶤᵗᵃᶰ 14 Yᵉᵃʳˢ # Oᶠ Mᵃʳᵉˢ : 1 # Oᶠ Mᵃʳᵉˢ Cᵒᵛᵉʳᵉᵈ : 1? Tᵃᵍˢ: Pyro's Herd + Soldier

The bigger bay stallion snorts at Soldier's words, a scoff that borders on a growl. Titan keeps his eyes locked on Soldier and his ears pinned back in anger as he speaks with a hostile tone that was colder than ice, "No. You don't understand. These mares are not yours to steal, nor anyone else's. Only a fool will try to take on two stallions of their own age for only two already bred mares and a young foal who isn't worth the fight to take." The stallion stomps his front hoof in a clear warning as he motions with his head towards the valley were many smaller herds with much younger band stallions were located, "There are plenty of herds with under-aged band stallions to steal from, such actions will result in a much larger reward than your current ones."

{Sorry, lack of muse for him at the moment.}

Nᶤᶜ 2 Yᵉᵃʳˢ Sᵗᵃˡˡᶤᵒᶰ : None Sᵗᵃᵗᵘˢ : Heat stage 3 Tᵃᵍˢ: Garry

When she hears him give chase, Nic glances back with a rather amused grin on her face. She snorts and tosses her head to act as if she wasn't very impressed with him, but it was only halfhearted. The dappled grey filly knew just how close winter was and also that she will be needing a herd in order to survive it so her acts of disinterest were pretty fake. Nic glances back towards Gary again and keeps trotting, not going very fast as she rather playfully swats her tail from side to side. She sees a few bachelors here and there, but none seem to interest her like the young stud that was chasing after her, the other stallions had no mares which means no other horses to share body heat with. The huge herd that Gary was with had plenty of bodies to keep everyone nice and toasty during a snowy winter night. It was almost a no-brainer as to who she should join, a bachelor without mares was a horrible choice while the mega-herd that Gary was with was the perfect one.

With her mind made up, Nic slows ever so slightly and starts to make a wide turn back towards where Gary's herd was, but she is careful to make it look like she was just casually moving in a different direction, she doesn't want him to stop his pursuit just yet. The filly keeps her tail raised like a signal to everyone that she was in heat and open to any advances. She may have chosen Gary and the large herd he was with, but that doesn't mean she will let him claim her without first earning his right to keep her. Even though she may be young and inexperienced with the whole 'breeding' thing, her instincts were tugging at her to pick a suitable stallion and have foal and the easiest way to determine the better sire is a fight that will show how strong the stallions were and how determined they were to keep her for themselves. Nic has chosen Gary as a suitable sire, but she wants to test him a little to make sure she chose correctly.

{A little skirmish between some random stallion will help her make up her mind (; It can be a stallion that you make up.}

Cʰᵃᵒˢ 12 Yᵉᵃʳˢ Sᵗᵃˡˡᶤᵒᶰ : Devil/Hound Sᵗᵃᵗᵘˢ : Foal - Calling All Evil (Demon) Tᵃᵍˢ: Demon + Herd

The large black mare stands silently as her colt struggles to his feet, stumbling a little before finally standing and making his way to his mother's milk. The two stood in the forest for a few long minutes after Demon finished his first meal, he was still wobbly on his feet and she doesn't want him to fall and hurt himself on the way back to the herd. Chaos sighs softly, she was still a little sore from the birth, but it wasn't anything she couldn't handle since she's done it many times before. The older mare goes about cleaning her newborn colt's black coat, he was a splitting image of his father which makes her a little heart sick. She misses Devil, her foal-hood crush, who had disappeared one day without a single good-bye or any reason for his departure. Chaos was angry with the stallion for leaving her alone with his younger brother, the irritating colt of a horse who thinks he can rule the herd, but more than anything she just misses him. She sighs again and nuzzles her beautiful colt before slowly heading back towards the herd, walking slowly so that her son could keep up without trying too hard.

Chaos tosses her head a little as they get closer to the herd, the sound of hooves and some voices reaching her now flattened ears, she knew that no one was stupid enough to attack her foal, but it's always good to be on guard anyway. The lead mare moves through the bush and out into the opening where the herd was still stationed, her small black foal tucked against her matching black side so that he was almost invisible. She snorts aggressively as she makes her way closer to the herd, letting the other mares know that no one is to touch her foal, or else there will be some severe consequences. Chaos looks around as she gets closer to the herd, she has yet to hear Hound or see him coming to greet his new nephew so she was curious as to where the new 'lead' stallion was at. She looks around as she walks and finally spots him off to the side chatting with an unknown mare, which doesn't surprise her in the least bit, but the sight of a lone mare so far into autumn was a little odd since most mares had a herd already due to the threatening winter that was fast approaching.

Iᵐᵃᵍᵉ 4 Yᵉᵃʳˢ Sᵗᵃˡˡᶤᵒᶰ : Pandemic Sᵗᵃᵗᵘˢ : Heat (3-4) Tᵃᵍˢ: No one specific/Herd

The white mare snorts and forcefully kicks out at Link when the other stallion snaps at her, but he had already moved away so her hooves hit nothing but air. She was a little disappointed that he had moved off, she would have liked to kick him at least once, but then again if she had he would have attacked her or something. Her ears flatten back as she catches his words, she was no brood mare, especially not to this sorry excuse for a stallion, "I'm no brood mare, especially not your brood mare." Image snorts at him and shakes out her snowy white mane, her anger slowly fading away as she starts to accept that her son was now off on his own like he should have been when he turned two a few months ago. Her ears stay flattened as they near the large herd, she snorts again softly, wasn't she the one who dreamed of a large herd and a strong stallion? Funny how dreams can turn out to be so anti-climatic. She makes her way into the herd, not really looking at anyone or anything, she simply stands by herself and grazes silently, not really interested in mingling at the moment.

Image looks over as Pandemic makes a show of pride, her gaze finding the small foal next to one of his mares, it seems the big stallion likes foals just as much as she does. As she watches the other mare with the foal, a sudden longing seized her heart, she wants a foal too one to fill the void that Lost had made when he was driven away. Her ears flick up a little as another mare calls out, she must be the lead mare judging by the way the herd responds to her moves and calls. Image wasn't interested in being a lead mare, too much responsibility and she's still pretty young so the rank just wasn't for her. The sound of Pandemic's voice drags her out of her thoughts, colts nearby? Was her son nearby as well? Image turns and trots over to the edge of the herd, wanting to at least catch sight of her son one last time. She hopes that he had found some fellow bachelors and was safe, at least as safe as he could without an actual herd.

When she moves a little to the side, she could see through the trees and spots the pale coat of her son along with a dapple and a buckskin, he has found a bachelor gang. The sight makes her relax more now that she knows her son will not die alone in the coming winter, he has friends who can help keep him alive and warm. Image stands watching her son through the trees, her tail flicking a little around behind her as some flies start to attack her rump, the movement of her tail spreads her heat scent that was slowly growing deeper. The mare snorts softly and moves back towards the herd with a little more pep in her step which could be caused by her deepening heat or the fact that her son was safe, maybe even a bit of both. Image stops to graze for a few moments, but soon grows restless and returns to her walking which quickly turns to a slow trot and then a faster one. Her tail was raised behind her as she trots, letting her heat scent spread around her, she was fading into her last heat stage and would eagerly accept any stallion's advances, even one of Pan's young bachelors.

He follows after Reaper, his steps unsure which betrays his wariness of the surrounding forest, if he had known more about the lands than he wouldn't be so nervous. Lost huffs silently as he follows after Reaper, his rather rebellious personality starting to shine through his nervous mask, but he stays quiet for now, he must learn about the lands before he could really feel confident. The young stud eagerly trots forward when they come to the creek, the scent of wet earth and the sound of the moving water was almost heavenly.

Lost drinks down mouthful after mouthful of water, greedily gulping down the cool liquid that soothes his parched throat and desperate thirst. After he had his fill, Lost moves off towards the tasty looking grass near the water, but stops when the sound of unfamiliar hoof-beats comes to his ears. The flea-bitten grey stallion looks over to see yet another young stud, a buckskin who acts as if he knew Reaper. Lost pulls his ears back a little, but was pretty relaxed after his long drink so his words were rather smooth and not as hostile as they would have been if he was still so thirsty,
"I'm Lost Reflection, or just Lost. I'm guessing you're a friend of his?" He motions towards Reaper as he asks the new stud his question.

Rᵒˢᵉ 10 Yᵉᵃʳˢ Sᵗᵃˡˡᶤᵒᶰ : Viking Sᵗᵃᵗᵘˢ : Heat (2) Tᵃᵍˢ: Doe, Moon, Amethyst + Viking

The wild bay roan mustang snorts at the new mare's rather sarcastic tone, such an attitude only makes the older mare all the more hostile, "I will make whatever impression I see fit." Rose pins her ears at both Amethyst and Viking as the stallion interjects with plea to get moving, but she won't move unless she deems it time to move. She turns her sharp gaze back to the new mare and takes a threatening step forward, wanting to make her position very clear, "I don't worry about you taking over because I know you can't even if you wanted to. My name isn't of your concern."

With one last aggressive snort, Rose turns and trots back to where she left Moon and Doe, her previous playful demeanor now gone completely. She nudges both mares to get them moving and trots up in front of them, taking the lead like she normally does. The older mare shakes out her black and white mane as she leads the band to a waterhole that only the older mares know how to get to, it was a rather tricky path, but after years of walking it, Rose has memorized every step of the way. She enters the forest and heads in a straight line south, slowing to a walk after a few minutes and cutting east suddenly only to turn back south after another few minutes. Rose leads the band though the forest, zig-zagging around at seemingly random intervals, but it was all calculated and precise in her mind.

Soldier listened to Titans words. He didn't say it out loud, but the taller stallion had a point.His ears loosened up a bit to face an acute angle. He looked over at Pyro and then back to Titan. The old stallion then turned and galloped off, shooting a glance at the little filly before going over the hill and disappearing out of sight. Saying nothing is better, he thought. He stopped and watched from a grove in the slope, keeping a close eye on the herd and waiting for an opportunity to snake.

"That's good." Dream replied. The births have gone smoothly for her, Sun, Eagle and Summer. All foals have been born and winter was coming. Winter was a harsh season, but she knew they could make it. She hoped that this winter wasn't like the others, maybe due to the drought they would have a dryer, warmer winter. Autumn was normally a time when the temperature would begin to drop and they would get rain, and though it has been cooling down it was rather warm out and they haven't had any rain. "Cloud? It fits him." She smiled, looking to Sun's colt. His coat was a light color, like a cloud. When Sun asked for her colt's name, Dream turned her head and gently nudged the dark colt standing by her. "This is Illusion."

Gᵃʳʳʸ 3 Yᵉᵃʳˢ # Oᶠ Mᵃʳᵉˢ : 0 # Oᶠ Mᵃʳᵉˢ Cᵒᵛᵉʳᵉᵈ : 1 Tᵃᵍˢ : Pan's Herd, Nic

The black colt had come closer to Nic, but not close enough. He was watching the dappled filly carefully, and he frowned at her actions. She didn't seem very interested in him, which saddened him a bit as he thought she was. Perhaps he was wrong in thinking that, and he was unable to tell that the dappled filly was just faking. There were a few other horses here and there, bachelors, but Garry didn't pay much attention to them. He was interested in Nic, not in the other bachelors who were around. Eventually Garry managed to come closer to Nic, if he reached out he would be able to touch her. He wondered on what he was to do next, he wanted to be with her but she seemed disinterested. His nostrils flared at her scent, and at first he did not notice the approaching threat.

He noticed something moving in the corner of his eye, and it was headed towards them. Turning his head a bit, he saw that it was a young stallion. He was a bachelor, he had a bright bay coat and a tangled black mane and tail. He was about Garry's age, maybe a little bit shorter, but like Garry he was interested in Nic. Garry snorted and he pinned his ears, not liking the fact that there was someone else going after Nic. This bachelor was a threat, and Garry didn't want him around. He turned away from Nic and this time was going after the other colt, moving at a quick trot and his tail flicking. At first, Garry just tried to warn the other male away. He attempted to make himself look tough and sending out warnings, but the other bachelor didn't back down and leave like Garry hoped he would. So, a fight broke out between the two males. The two would shove, kick and nip at whatever they could reach. Garry did his best, avoiding the bachelor's hooves and doing what he could to get the other bachelor to leave. Feeling the bachelor's teeth sink into his shoulder, he let out a squeal and pulled himself away from the bay, turning his rump towards him. The new wound on his shoulder stung, but it wasn't life threatening. He began to lash out with his hind hooves, double barreling the colt behind him several times. That seemed to do it, as the bachelor seemed to have enough and he began to retreat. Seeing that he was victorious, the dark colt shook out his mane and began to trot over to where Nic was. Winning that little fight out him in a better mood, and he was feeling a bit more confident now. Another young bachelor was heading towards Nic, but Garry wouldn't let him close. He broke into a canter and charged towards the male with his head lowered. Once close enough, he snapped at the colt's flank and began to drive him away. Once the colt had turned and was now moving away, Garry raised his head and pricked his ears. He glanced around, checking for any other stallions who may try to approach Nic, but he didn't see anyone coming towards the dappled filly. Satisfied, he turned and began to head back over to Nic.

Natsu lowered his head and shut his eyes, wanting to rest. He was sore, and a quick nap sounded like a great idea. As he stood quietly, an unfamiliar nicker filled his ears. It wasn't Squire, who was it. Opening his eyes, the chestnut colt let out a soft snort and raised his head, turning a bit to see who it was. His gaze rested on Hwin, his ears pricking when he saw her. He had expected to maybe see another bachelor, not a lone filly. He nickered in greeting to the loner, then glanced over to Squire.

The dark colt stood quietly, watching the pair. When his mother looked at something, he followed her gaze and looked to where Ezra was. Ezra was his father, but Illusion didn't really know that yet. There were two foals by Ezra, Wing and Cloud, who were Illusion's siblings. He was curious about them, he wanted to go over but he'd rather stay by his mother's side for now. When Dream nudged him, he blinked and took a small step forward, turning his attention back to Dream and Sun. Hearing his name, the colt pricked his ears and looked to Sun. He was a bit hesitant at first, but the colt took a step towards Sun and reached out to her.

Jokull
Age: 10 years
Status: Band stallion
With his mare
And his ally

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
Jokull paused as his mare did, wincing a bit as his bit of an abrupt stop caused the place Nakiah had glanced him with her slightly resentful kick. He didn't quite understand why she was so wary of Gator, though he supposed that it was fairly warranted considering that she didn't know him. "It's all right, he's a-" The silver stallion was cut off by his mare sending a nicker out. He cocked his head, curious, and glanced over to where Nakiah was now focusing. Lo and behold, there was another mare there. Still, Gator was far closer to her than they were, and Jokull wanted to see if his ally had recovered any more than when he had first met him.
One deep breath later, Jokull turned to the mare next to him, though one ear was carefully tilted towards the other two. Even though this wasn't the best time as he was still curious about Cerberus, he needed to make sure that Nakiah would be ok with Gator. "The draft stallion's name is Gator, he is my ally. He's a friend. There's nothing to be concerned about." He assured her, though he couldn't help but glance back at the mystery mare as he did so.

Cain smiled half-heartedly as the filly danced around him. To be honest, it just made him nervous. "I-she's fine... I'm Cain, good to officially meet you, Lullaby." As her mother ushered her away, the stallion cocked his head. It appeared the mare in his line of sight had disappeared so it might be wise for him to turn and focus on the mare in front of him. "I noticed, Angel." He said with a chuckle as he made sense of the situation. Taking care of foals and heck, even a band, was not something he was used to. But he'd better become a quick learner if he was to have his band and its members survive all that would be thrown at them. Oh, you know what'd be nice about now? Some sort of pleasant surprise. Yeah, that would be fab. Cain considered with a small huff before refocusing on the two horses in front of him.

Sara snorted and rolled her eyes as all she got was a nod. And then he wandered off towards another horse; probably a mare consisting how he was acting and that beyond annoying pep in his step after his initial reaction.
The brindle glanced around at the rest of the herd, a quiet sigh flowing out of her nostrils. Didn't they get bored? This was looking to be her longest time in a band since she escaped her birth-band and she was already considering a way out. There was a quaint appeal to this life, but it was slightly ruined by the fact she didn't really like the other horses she was stuck with. Besides, she was still young, stagnancy didn't suit her.
Safara looked over to Nala, considering maybe continuing on having a conversation with her. Even though she might even like the dun mare, Sara was pretty done with other horses as of now. As a result, the brindle mare decided to make things a little bit harder on the brothers and began to slowly wander way from the herd between chomps at the grass. Sure she wouldn't be able to walk away scot-free, but she could at least push the limits and hint at her displeasure at being here.

Nᵃᵐᵉ :: Dante's Inferno
Aᵍᵉ :: Six
Gᵉᶰᵈᵉʳ :: Mare
Sᵗᵃᵗᵘˢ :: /SOBBING/
Hᵉʳᵈ :: Anloric's
Tᵃᵍˢ :: Nati, Halo

The sorrel mustang was trying her best to keep calm as the coyotes swarmed in. She kicked one behind her, and rolled when another lunged onto her withers. Dante was doing her best to fend them off, hoping to keep her friend and her beloved filly safe. Another grasped her underbelly, and she screeched, immediately dropping to the ground, crushing it beneath her, before rolling to her side and thrashing at those trying to get her while she was down. Soon she was up on her feet again, bleeding from several areas, but nothing major. She'd injured several, and it seemed they were beginning to disperse. The mare almost smiled with pride, until she noticed they were all heading towards a downed mare. Nati. And she ran forward, biting at the wild hounds and desperately trying to remove them from her friend. "Nati! No! Hold on, I've got them! You can do this Nati stay calm, please! For me, for--" That was when she realized Halo wasn't with her. And Dante heard her cry out, and her blood ran cold. At that same time, Nati said her last words, before a coyote cut off her life. Permanently. And by god if Halo wasn't in danger right now, Dante would have fallen to her knees and broke down crying. But she couldn't. Not with Halo still desperately clinging onto her life. Nati loves you. She understands, now save her baby. The words were running through her head as guilt began to overwhelm her, and she ran towards Halo, neighing loudly. "Don't you dare touch her!" She snapped, slamming her front hooves down onto the dogs dragging her, hearing a satisfying crack as their spines snapped. Dante proceeded to kick and bite those still aiming for the filly, though many were now going for her dead friend. And while she would normally have tried to keep them from defiling the body, she knew she couldn't. She had to save Halo. That was Nati's dying wish. "Halo, baby come on now. Get up, I'll get you out of here. Please, I know you're in pain but you've got to do this for me, okay?" Her eyes were filled with tears and her voice with desperation, but she was doing everything in her power to stay strong and save the filly's life. She nudged the foal encouragingly, hoping she would stand up and hobble off with Dante. "Please get up, we need to go sweetie."

Nᵃᵐᵉ :: Pandora
Aᵍᵉ :: Nine
Gᵉᶰᵈᵉʳ :: Mare
Sᵗᵃᵗᵘˢ :: Fiery
Hᵉʳᵈ :: Lucifer's
Tᵃᵍˢ :: Lucifer

What was wrong with her? Besides being this alluring temptress, why was she playing this game with such a dangerous opponent? They were equally matched in both wits and charm, and it would be by very little that one of them would win. But it seemed with the uttering of her creation's name, she'd won. He was putty in her hooves, a mess of fur and bones ready at her command. Normally this is where she would get up and leave, fully satisfied with the win in the game of wits. But this time, she stood in place. She felt no need to leave, no need to run away with the pleasure of having rendered a stallion to nothing but a babbling mess. Quite the opposite, actually. Pandora stood in place, quivering with excitement as the dappled stallion's pelt brushed against hers, causing a most delicious friction. Never once had she allowed a stallion to mount her, yet she was letting this one, this handsome devil, court her. And she didn't fight it, she didn't argue or even shift away. "Oh, my darling Lucifer." She practically purred as he finalized that he, in fact, was hers. He didn't own her. He was tied to her. Pandora owned him, controlled him, and now they were together. From now until the end of time. And to make that fact final, she shifted her tail aside for him, something she'd never done for any stallion before. "Then take me as your own, Lucifer." She'd used that same alluring tone as she had done previously, and continued to use it as she repeated his name. {{timeskip}} The mouse gray Arabian now rested her head lazily across his back, gently grooming him. His pelt didn't seem nearly as sweaty as her own, and she couldn't help but mentally chuckle at the fact. At one point she'd actually asked if she'd paid her debt in full yet... But that's a story for another time. Now, however long later, she stood beside her stallion, fully satisifed and fairly content. Mind you, none of this was out of love. It was lust. Savage, hormonal lust. So wrong, and yet so fitting for the devilish pair. Pandora doubted she'd ever find love, she had far too much fun flirting and working her charm... though now, she coudn't really do that, could she? She was technically tied down now, to one stallion. And while earlier, the whole 'from now until the end of time' thing seemed alright, the mare found herself mulling over the idea. Well, let's see. No more flirting and toying with other stallions. No more playing my little mind games. The thoughts saddned her a bit. But, he's a fantastic fantastic lover, minus there being any love. He's submitted himself to me, in exchange for using one another as needed. Not bad. She was beginning to feel better about this. Not only that, but we're practically perfect together. Not as a couple, but overall. We're a match made in the deepest pits of hell. Yup. Pandora was definitely alright with being tied down to Luci. "How are you faring, my dear?" The word 'dear' had no feelings attached to it, and was only meant as another name to refer to the stallion as. She wouldn't be cruel and use the derogatory term 'pet', and she would only use his name during their little rendezvous.

Nᵃᵐᵉ :: Tsunami
Aᵍᵉ :: Five
Gᵉᶰᵈᵉʳ :: Mare
Sᵗᵃᵗᵘˢ :: Alert
Hᵉʳᵈ :: Death's
Tᵃᵍˢ :: Herd

She'd tuned out the older pair for the most part. Nami wasn't too interested in listening to their conversation. What happened between her father and Honey, was their own business, none of hers. She kept an eye out for any dangers, knowing that the lovestruck pairing were far too involved in catching up to really pay attention to anything. And then Death called out her name, and the painted mare turned, cocking an ear. She listened to him, emotionless, and opened her mouth to argue that it would be best for Honey to lead. But considering the look on Death's face, and Honey announcing that she was in labor, Nami kept her mouth shut. She listened to the Arabian mare's advice, before nodding in agreement, and returning her nudge just before she went to birth. Tsunami then turned to her step-father, and sighed. "Come on old man. She said she'll catch up to us." The younger mare teased her step-father, before trotting towards the forest Honey had gone to. If they found shelter there, then the soon-to-be mother would have an easier time finding them. Not only that, but the forests were typically quiet enough for anyone to relax in. And knowing all of them could use a day or two off, it seemed like a perfect plan. So Nami lead the way to new grounds, calling out, "Last one to the forest is a rotten apple!"

She felt horrible. For having done this to Death. Betraying him by letting his brother impregnate her. But she'd hurt. She'd hurt so bad after the loss of their daughter. And the hole in her heart had grown double in size, and had demanded to be filled. It had healed some once she'd become pregnant. And it was near completely healed when she reunited with the love of her life, Death, but it wasn't right. She didn't want Fiasco's foal. She wanted Death's foal. She wanted another pitch black foal who looked just like their father, with the heart of their mother... Honey stayed close to her beloved stallion as he mourned the loss of Shinigami. She pressed a muzzle to his neck and kept it there, gently rubbing the skin in a soothing way. When he stood again, stating his plot for revenge, the flaxen chestnut couldn't help but sigh. "There's no need, my love. Fiasco is nothing but the past, now. I have you again, and--" The mare winced with pain as a contraction swept through her. The next one was far more powerful, and somehow she managed to stay on her feet. It was time. The foal was coming. She pressed her muzzle ever so lovingly to Death's, and allowed their eyes to meet. "I'll return soon. I promise." And she turned, heading towards Nami and giving her a gentle nudge. "Move the herd somewhere safe. I'll find you guys." With that, Honey was off, wincing with every agonizing step. She headed into the forest, finding herself a quiet place to birth...

Now that the herd was out of harm's way, Apocalypse could relax. Somewhat. As lead, she never had a vacation day. She was always on high alert, watching over the herd while Tidal took care of his own duties. And she always had to be on her toes, ready to move the herd whenever things seemed to be getting rough or when their scent was starting to stick. Thankfully, they'd only just moved, and she didn't feel threatened. She stood by her herdmates, specifically Nowi, and gently groomed the mare. She was enjoying the lazy affection and the peace which surrounded them, up until Tidal came over and decided he was going to play with fire. At first, Apocalypse paid him little attention, simply giving him a glance before rolling her eyes, and resuming to groom the other mare. But then he said they looked 'fuzzy and fat', and Apocalypse raised a brow, and turned her full attention to him. "Oh really?" She asked, a smirk growing on her lips before she took a step forward. "Do you really want to play that game? We outnumber you." The black Morab said, glancing back to the other mares and giving them a wink. Just as she turned back, she caught a glance of a full moon, and she nearly snorted with laughter. No matter what he did, Tidal never ceased to amaze her. He was always so dorky and cheeky, and well, she cared for him. A lot. He gave her a warm fuzzy feeling inside and made her happy. She refused to call it love, but you can all assume that's what it is. Just when the mare was going to lurch forward and give him a nip on the rump for taunting them all like that, he moved off, having found a new potential herd mate. With a plan in mind to get him back, she resumed her lead duties, moving amongst the herd and keeping on high alert for any threats. With her belly now swelling with a baby of her own, she felt the need to be even more protective than usual.

"Why I oughtta geld that stallion!" The mare shouted angrily, as she moved at a slow trot towards the main valley. It was now late fall, and it was growing rather chilly at this time. The lovely Pintabian mare Lunatic, who'd only recently joined up with a younger bachelor, was on her own yet again. Not that she was completely helpless or anything, but with winter coming, she'd prefer to have a herd to huddle up with. Plus, more eyes to see any threats during big snowstorms. "The one time I ever trust a younger stallion as my own and what do I get? Abandoned. The nerve of some--!" Yup, she was still shouting. At who? Probably the stallion who'd left her, though it was clear he was nowhere in sight. So she was pretty much shouting angrily at air right now. "I mean who does he think he is? I'm dropdead gorgeous, I have more than enough experience to run a herd, and he just... ugh!" Her ears were pinned and with every statement made, she kicked out her back hooves, as if to strike at the nonexistant stallion. She was angry. Scratch that, she was irked beyond belief. Anyone who comes across her at this point in time should be extra cautious, there's a good chance she might take her anger out on you.

The lead's reaction was priceless, and overall fueled Insanity to pester her more, drive for an even better reaction. But it seemed that the mare was suddenly afflicted, by who knows what as she took off into the trees. The Pintabian mare snorted, satisfied, and shuffled through the herd, glancing over all of her new herd members. And she scoffed, having come into realization that well, there was no other competition. Really. The only thing that stood in her way was that uptight lead mare, everyone else was obviously below her in ranking. And while that much please her, Insanity wouldn't be fully satisfied until everyone, including Karma was ranked beneath her. Second place just simply wouldn't do. After thorough examination of her new herd, Insanity settles in to graze. Just as she does, though, that stuck-up lead mare returns... with an extra set of legs? It takes a second before the paint realizes that, ah, she had a newborn by her side. And she smirks. Would the lead risk her life, as well as her foal's, to keep her position? Insanity ponders the scenario. Hmm... attack her now when she's weak, and put her newborn in the middle of it... if she were smart she'd back down, realizing her colt could be severly injured or worse... She glances back to the ebony pair, and sighs. As dominant and prideful as she was, she just wasn't cruel. She could never harm a foal. This wasn't an issue that should involve an innocent newborn, it was between her and his dam. So she stayed in place, grazing, her tail occasionally flicking back and forth. I'll have my chance in due time. The mare smiled at the thought. In due time.

While his ally courted the lovely mare he'd met, Gator stood quietly off to the side, allowing the pair their space. He blocked out whatever they were saying and focused solely on grazing. Occasionally his mind would drift back to the mares he missed so dearly, but he forced himself to forget about it. He wasn't a weak stallion. He was caring, but he needed to move on. Or at least try. Yes, he loved his girls with all of his heart. The spunky Doe. The quiet Half-Moon. And the gorgeous, smart Allayo. But it seemed he had no chance of regaining them, at least not any time soon. It seemed that after his brother stole the herd, they'd all vanished off the face of the earth. Gone. Without a trace. He hadn't seen or heard from them since. Gator's thoughts were quickly interrupted when an angel fell from the sky. Or, seemingly fell from the sky. And it wasn't really an angel, though, she could easily be thought of as one. A lovely spotted mare had slipped down the hillside, and was now yelling something... something he couldn't quite make out. Whatever she was saying was none of his concern, though, as he slowly turned and trotted towards her, head low to show he was no threat. His long locks fell into his face with this action, but once he brought his head back up they went off to the side again. "Are you alright, m'am?"

Well, the affections shown were nice while they lasted. She cared very much for her stallion. He was big and strong, older in age and overall a great leader. If anything, she would complain about his involvement in any and all social matters that occurred within their lands. As the oldest and wisest, he seemed to take on the sole responsibility of dealing with many matters. She knew he had allies, connections really, all over, and it seemed that he was always there to bail his buddies out of trouble. Which was fine, of course. A good stallion and a man loyal to his word. What about that could she not like? The only issue with it was she was often left alone to watch the herd. A simple task, nothing she couldn't handle, but she didn't appreciate that he always left when they were in the busiest section of the valley. There were so many stallions, all capable of snaking a mare without a lead to chase them off. And while Vega could easily outrun any stallion and keep her herd safe, she was one to stick by the 'no man left behind' rule, meaning she didn't like leaving without Titan knowing where she was going. But she sighed, nonetheless as he took off to involve himself in another dispute. With that, she turned to his yearling daughter and smiled. Maybe it was time to get to know her better. "So Estella." She began, walking over to the young filly. "Are you happy to be back with your father?" It was awkward, yes, seeing as technically now she was some sort of step-mother figure, but she loved foals and wanted to know the daughter of her current stallion. After all, come summer next year, she'd be birthing one of his children.

Did mares have an off button? Or a mute button? Or a shut the hell up and calm down button? Because Viking was on the verge of slamming his head into a boulder. Repeatedly. He was tense all over, and his eyes wide as he forced a smile on his lips. not wanting to push his mares any further. The bickering needed to stop. He was so close to just running away and letting the crazies fight amongst themselve, but BY THE GRACE OF THE HEAVANS, Rose found now to be a fitting time to move the herd. And the dark brown draft closed his eyes, whispering a near-silent 'thank-you' to the gods themselves, before rounding up his herd and pushing them on. As annoying as they all were, he was beginning to feel for his herd. Specifically his lead, Rose. She was so wise. So pretty. A little too edgy and talkative for his liking, but she made a good lead. A trustworthy one. And some days he felt the need to praise her, but kept his mouth shut, knowing she would tell him to quit his yacking and keep an eye out for any dangers. That's just how she was. She knew she was good and didn't need his petty compliments to remind her. Rose was so confident in herself. So powerful. And so daring to stand up to a stallion twice her size and mass. And by god, he was beginning to fall for her.

The dapple gray mare felt utterly content for the first time in a while. No longer did she have to fear for her son being killed, nor did she have to worry about being with a stallion she did not approve of. Nope. Her son had grown and gone, and now, she was with Thunder. Currently she as enjoying a silent grooming session with the aforementioned stallion, gently nibbling on his fur and enjoying the silence of their home. Well. She had been enjoying it, until Pan screeched at all of his dogs. And like dogs, they all pricked up their ears in interest, ready to obey and commaned their master gave them. And the Andalusian sighed, shaking her head. "Why do you listen to him?" Phantom asks, turning to her stallion. "Why stick around? He's given you a mare... at this point, you're your own stallion. You have no debt to repay." She knew she was treading in dangerous waters now, especially with the acclaimed "king" stallion so close by. But she had to ask. The mare needed to know. Well... truthfully she wanted to play with fire a bit, see if any one dog would actually consider going against their master. Wouldn't that be a spectacle? All of the hounds turning on their self-proclaimed king. Ha!

Honestly, she was more than pleased with the presence of this new mare. In fact, one could even say that she was thrilled. Estatic. Bae seemed like a very kind and smart mare, one Voodoo wouldn't mind being their lead. While the bay Morgan would be honored to lead a herd, she knew she wasn't deserving. Not against this gal, at least. The paint was kind and wise, someone who would make all the right decisions and keep her herd out of harms way. For those reasons, and because she was in need of some female friends, Voodoo hoped that Bae would join. When Pride extended the offer to the new female, the Morgan found herself offering a wide smile, as if hoping it would somehow encourage this mare to join them.

"He better." Summer replied. "But I'll keep an eye on him, just to be safe." The palomino gave Eagle a grateful look. "Thanks though, honestly, I do appreciate you trying to make me feel better."

"Sure!" Apollo agreed quickly, after glancing curiously at Cloud and Ezra. Who were they? He was eager to find out but Apollo could wait. Playing was more important. With a playful nicker, he ran towards Wing.

(So sorry guys!! I keep meaning to post for him but I keep forgetting!!! So sorry.)

Anloric had been busy fighting of several coyotes of his own. He'd already sustained more injuries than he cared to admit. His sides and belly were scratched up, a couple of those scratches bleeding a bit too heavily and encouraging the coyotes. The stallion didn't stop when he noticed the coyotes beginning to disperse, but after kicking out at one of them, he noticed what was going on. His lovely lead, Nati. She was dead. Anloric seemed frozen with horror and grief, but Halo jerked him back into reality. Tearing his stricken gaze from Nati, he joined Dante. The mare was just as grief-stricken as he was, but even in her sadness, Dante was trying her best to save Halo, despite how futile it looked. And Anloric wouldn't be the one to stop her. "Come on Halo," Anloric encouraged the filly, working hard to keep his sadness from registering on his face. He had to be strong. For his family. "Get up sweetie, please. Do it for us." He added his urges to Dante's.

Might join, despite how many pages ya guys are in!
Is there any limit to how many horses I can have?}
And am I allowed to selfishly guard names? Like, there are certain names I WANT to use for foals, and don't want confusion or anything)

Thunder remained by Phantom, though he wasn't grooming her now. His brown eyes carefully scanned the land for any threats, there were some horses here and there, but he didn't see anyone who was close enough to be a threat to them. Lucifer was no where in sight, and Thunder had noticed Garry moving away from the herd, towards an unknown horse. Hearing Phantom speak, the dark stallion looked back to the dappled mare, frowning at her question. Now that he thought about it...why was he here? He joined in when Pan and Grim were attacking Pride when this herd was still his, and he thought about leaving a few times but never really thought or did anything about it. "Well...I have thought about it a few times..." He trailed off. If he wanted to, he could leave. But what about Phantom? Pan had given Ghost and Phantom to him some time after they took over Ace's herd, but could he leave with Phantom? He didn't even have any breeding rights in this herd, so he doubted that if he did leave, he could take a mare with him. "If I leave, would I be able to take you with me?"

Tidal had gone off somewhere, and Sebastian was starting to become bored. He had tried to play with Faith earlier, but she made it clear that she wasn't really interested in the moment. He snorted and looked around the herd, his ears swiveling. He didn't really like being the only foal in the herd. He did receive plenty of attention and enjoyed being with others, but it would be nice to be able to play with others his age. He wondered if Eevee and Mew would ever return. His mother told him that the strange, two legged beings that took them away were called 'humans'. He hoped that they were okay, humans didn't sound very nice. Faith had told him that humans had gotten her and one of her old stallions once, and they weren't kind to her. Faith managed to get out, does that mean that maybe Mew and Eevee could come back? Sebastian looked to Apocalypse, who was moving through the herd. She resembled Mew, with her pitch black coat and blue eyes, but the two mares were different. When Sebastian first met Apocalypse, he was a bit intimidated by her, but the colt had grown to like her. He trotted away from Faith and moved towards Apocalypse, slowing to a walk once he was at her side. Like the other two mares of this herd, the dark mare had a round belly which indicated that she was in foal. It was Tidal's foal, and he or she would be Sebastian's new brother or sister. He tried to think of something to say, but nothing came to mind. So he stayed quiet, his ears pricked and alert as he walked with Apocalypse.

Akuma had defeated Cusick, but he had failed to find Gypsy. When the mare ran into the forest he followed, weaving through the trees and searching carefully for her. He searched and searched, but the draft had failed to find her. Not wanting to be separated from his herd for too much longer, the stud decided to retreat. He left the forest, and he began to head back to where his herd was. He was weary from the fight and running around, searching for Gypsy. His wounds were no longer bleeding, and wouldn't be life threatening as long as he didn't get an infection. He had been away from his mares for some time, but he trusted Mariah to keep the herd safe. The herd came into view, and Akuma was glad to see them, but something was off. He saw Ciqala and Mariah, along with two foals. He was happy with the arrival of two foals, but where was Winter? Normally, he would have assumed that Winter had left to foal, but Riku was gone as well. The stud scowled and flattened his ears, not seeing either of these horses concerned him. "Mariah!" He called to his lead, beginning to slow as he neared the herd. "Where is Winter? And Riku?"
