He ran down the house past the she-cats and grabbed the kit then bounded out and kept him next to him.

"Dad," he looked up at him "she didn't harm me, she gave me herbs, so whys mum fighting her?" He asked "will she die?"

"Fine" Berryfrost said, trying to hide the pain in her eyes. Turning she walked back to the nursery, tail tip flicking. Quietly she laid by her kits. Silently tears fell from her eyes, turning her head she didn't want her kits to be woken by the drops.

Silentvoice bristled as his first love was getting attacked. He glared at Watervole and gestured for the Tom to save his mate. It was his duty. He spit at him, then looked at Leaf and raced towards her and Roseheart, a clawed paw raised and aimed for Leaf. The only thing keeping him from striking the stranger cat was Roseheart as she pinned it down.

Featherstone's body trembled slightly, his gaze narrowed into angry slits. He growled lowly in his throat, claws digging into the dirt.

"But you got hurt by her!" She squeaked at Wolfkit."She was going to the river...to do who knows what!"

She waited for Leaf to speak, but couldn't help but to say,"my mother didn't care for me either. We're in two different clans. She only wants me for what I can do...it just makes me a better mother though..."

Watervole hissed "stay there kits" then ran over and pinned Leaf down "Roseheart, go to the kits please, and Silentvoice, please go back to your duties? We can sort this out. I know I'm not the leader but please leave us to finish this."

He nodded then ran up to his father "Don't hurt her!" He pushed his paw away to let Leaf get up "she gave me hurts that helped."

She stopped pinning Leaf,"I hope you understood what I said..." Roseheart meowed before nudging Wolfkit away from her. "Wolfkit you don't understand, she killed Fallenkit and made Crookedkit and Clearkit run away..." Roseheart believed. "I don't want you or Lightkit to end up the same...it would break my and your father's heart. And your clans." She then nudged Scilentvoice's shoulder with her tail,gesturing for him to follow.
