The lone pup wondered until she found a carcass resting on the ground. letting out a whine she made at attempt at tearing meatoff the cold stiff body. When a roar sounded behind her she turned to see a large bear on it's back legs watching her. She whined and ran, but as she ran she heard pounding behind her. 'Oh-no... It's giving chase.' She thought running and swerving around trees. Still running she yelped loud for help.

Alex trotted at the back of the pack as they hurried back to their territory. As soon as they arrived, she heard high-pitched yelp. Her ears immediately perked up. 'Oh no, someone must be in trouble!' she thought worriedly. "Mist-" she started to say. But she cut herself short. Orders were orders, especially if they're from an Alpha, and she knew she couldn't object. Alex hung her head in guilt for not being able to help the wolf and hoped that he or she would be alright. Alex stayed by the edge of their terrirory, deciding on what to do. She knew she was too young to help defend and fight the enemies, so she decided to watch their pack members to see what they would do when troubles like this occur.

As Tara ran she continued her yelps for help, when she got no responses she stopped. Her tongue lolled from her mouth as she ran, but she turned to look at the bear right on her paws. The bear lifted it's massive paw and swung at her. Quickly leaping to the side she managed to dodge it. It swung again at her, but as she went to dodge she was slightly late and claws skimmed her side. She yelped loud and fell into a small hole. The bear clawed at her and snapped at her, but the size of the hole denied it. She barked out loud for help.

Luna glanced around nervously as she followed the pack wolves back to their territory. She heard faint yelps of distress from somewhere deep within the woods. She shuddered at the sound. When no wolf made any move to help, she increased her pace until she was shoulder-to-shoulder with the wolf who appeared to be the alpha female. Luna wasn't sure what kind of response she would receive but she asked "Are you going to help the wolf I just heard yelping?"

Hawk watched the wolves as they ran to protect their territory. She was starting to follow when she heard a bark of terror. She froze mid-step. The bark was that of a young pup. She stood there, debating whether or not to help the pup. It probably wasn't from the pack so she wouldn't be able to surprise the pack wolves the way she wanted to if she helped but a pup in distress is not easily ignored, even by a wolf like Hawk. She decided that helping the pup was a better idea so she ran in the direct the bark had come from. She soon found herself staring at a young bear that was trying to shread a pup with its claws. The pup was in a small hole so that the bear couldn't reach it but the ground around the hole was crumbling fast and the hole's entrance was growing. If Hawk didn't act soon the pup would be killed. She leaped up into the bear's back and sunk her teeth into its flesh. Thankfully the bear was young and inexperienced. It didn't know how to fight off an adult wolf. It roared in pain and tried to throw her off but she held on tight. Come on, she thought, Help me! You might think I can kill this beast on my own but I'm just one wolf. You may only be a young pup but even an adolescent like you would help.

Tara was whining as she was trying to crawl deeper into the hole, but her attention was grabbed when the bear roared in pain. She turned to see a wolf on the bears back, she didn't know what to do so she leapt from the hole and sunk her puppy teeth into the bears throat tugging and jerking her head around, hoping her two month old teeth could do some damage. Blood was trickling from the wound on her side which made every move painful. She let go and inflicted another bite on the bears side. The bear stood up on it's back legs before charging towards the center of the woods.
