I ponder over this. To ask or not to ask? That is the question. I give an exhale. "Fine." I grumble, "May I please have some water. But keep this in mind. This is a one time thing."

Shade made a saucer of water appear at his own feet,"sure come drink it." He said wanting to show he was not to be messed with or challenged.

I stare at him, not trusting. Then I call on the flames. I inch towards the water. "Let's say the flames are a safely priority."

Shade grins,"fine but you must take them down when you drink, trust me I will not harm you. Unless you attack me first."

I sit in front of him. "I'll extinguish myself if you go over to that corner of the roof." I love my trust issues.

Shade looks at him,"this is my home so if you want water I will stay righ here and you will drink it exstenguished.

I sigh. "Fine then." I growl, "But if you try any funny business, I'll make sure I burn your face off." I extinguish and begin to drink, still on high caution.

Shadow falls asleep, head next to Terenced. Snoring sofly with an occasinal content-like growl, she dreamed of the times she used to have with her mom. Her first kill, when she learned how to fly, her first birthday... Shadow smiled contently as she dreamed, cradled in her mother's wings from the past.
