I lay down, my battered wings hiding the horrible wound.

"No medicine can cure poisoning of this degree." Arbolaest said. "I suggest we make her final moments more comfortable." He whispered.

"alright" gigantic sobbed as a tear rolled down his head. "ok ... I ... uh ... will get some levees!"

Arbolaest sighed. "I'm sorry it has come to this." He said to Inferno.

inferno shook her head. "I...." she trailed off. "I've spent my life protecting these dragons, and up until a few days ago, none of them had spoken to me... now i'm dying, and I will never get to know them...."

"I don't believe it will end that easily." Arbolaest said. "While I don't know of any cure, that doesn't mean that there isn't one."
