I found a piece of a vole and settled with that. "So, what really happened to your paw?" I questioned.

"Good." Briarheart said and flashed a goofy smile. She rested her head down and closed her eyes, tired as could be.

"Well Jaxpaw, would you like to have a new mother?" Shadowtail said getting nervous. He tapped his tail impatiently and looked at him with worry.

"Yea, sure whatever it's your life dad, and I'd be happy for you" Jaxpaw smiled

"Nothing happened to it" Jetpaw murmed

I pushed for more information, my tail flicked slightly. "Come on, I know something happened," I smile at the tom.

Dawnfire was getting tired of waiting for shadowtail so she just got up and padded into the forest and headed for the clearing where she had left the two toms. When she reached them, she sat next to shadowtail and looked into his eyes. A smile crossed her face as soon as thier gaze locked. Suddenly, with the sun beating down on her back and the birds chirping in the distance, dawnfire felt a warm fuzzy feeling inside her and her head begwn to spin. The green and pink flashes wirled around her as the blossom trees spun rapidly. A heart beat later, she was snapped back to reality. Is that what love is? She was certain it was. Twining her tail with his she turned to jaxpaw and smiled.
