Goldfeather's tail lowered quickly and he crouched, hoping she wouldn't attack him and hoping that she would come back to the present soon. " Ashfeather, we trained as apprentices together." He whispered.

Ashfeather locked eyes with the young tom. She growled. "You don't know me! You'll never know what it's like!" She meowed.

(Its OK, he's the same age though.)
Goldfeather didn't say anything. He just waited, getting back to his full height. "In fact, I do."

Ashfeathers eyes flashed with confusion. "What do you mean?" She meowed, her eyes growing clouded again.

Goldfeather took a step towards her. "I have. I've felt every bit of pain in that, every single hurt. Remember when I came back to camp with half of my ear torn off and all bloodied? Remember how i said I was attacked by rouges? Well, those weren't rouges. It was one. She had my heart for so long, I couldnt imagine life without her. Then one day, she came... She came with another Tom... she...she said all the things that could possibly break my heart... Then she told him to attack... I was left for dead, and believe me, I wanted to be." His eyes were clouded over as he spoke, then he shook his head and watched Ashfeather. "So don't tell a cat you don't know well enough that they don't know how it feels."

Ashfeathers eyes glazed over, one memory standing out between the others. A brown tom, Laying on the frozen, snow-covered ground in front of her. A stinging at the bottom of her left eye, crossing her face. Blood pouring into the other eye. The toms neck oozed a dark liquid. Ashfeather snapped back to the present. "But you didn't kill. You didn't watch another cat die in front of you." She sat down, her neck fur rising. "After, after he left. I was left alone, starving, cold. When a giant brown tom burst into my den and attacked me. He almost blinded me." She mewed, her tail rising to trace the deep pink scar that ran from her left eye across her face. "The battle ended up outside, and..and, he was on top of me. I threw him off, and I jumped on top of him. Then, then all I could see was the memories. My mom leaving, my siblings, dieing while I couldn't do anything, Shock leaving. And...And....I ripped the toms throat out." She mewed, barely more than a whisper.

Goldfeather watched her. " we were fighting against rouges who were trying to come into our territory. I was fighting a tom that looked like him. I fought to kill, and I only saw him. When I realised what I did, the poor tom was starting at me, terrified, but it was too late. His blood on my paws... he was just trying to feed and keep his family alive."

Ashfeather growled, her eyes narrowing. "What do you want, why are you telling me all this stuff." She crouched.

Goldfeather whipped his tail through the air. " I'm just proving that I do understand and that I am withy of your time, so don't go attacking me for it."

Ashfeather whipped around, mad that he had made her crack. She has never told anyone that, ever. She ran through the forest, her legs lengthening her strides until she was racing through the trees.
