Goldfeather passed towards Ashfeather. " hey, Ashfeather, would you like to go hunting?" He wanted to gain her trust, knowing that her past mate had looked like his brother. His golden purely shone and his silver eyes sparkled. For once, he didn't think that was a good thing.

Ashfeather stared up at him. Her deep amber eyes flashed. Old memories flew through her mind. She swallowed, shaking her head. "Sure." She meowed, standing up.

Goldfeather nodded. " where would you like to go?" He asked, walking beside Ashfeather add they left camp.

Ashfeather padded a bit faster, memories flooding her vision. "Near the river." She meowed, her eyes staring straight ahead. Her dark figure slipped between the shadows as she took the lead.

You have no right to ask me about him!" Memories flooded, harsher now. Tears formed in her eyes. Her hackles rose as she pictured her clouded past.
