It was a sunny day and Riverstar was out hunting. He saw a vole and went for it but the killer jumped in front of Riverstar, slashing his throat open killing him. The killer then went back to the camp.

Moonsong yawned, stretching in her nest. It had been a slow day in the medicine den, and she had needed a nap. Feeling refreshed for her sleep, Moonsong sat by the pool in the back, looking at her reflection and grooming all the stray hairs that went everywhere when she slept.

Littlemoon noticed Riverstar hadn't come back in a while, so he decided to go look for the other tom. When he found his slayed form, the tom gasped and dashed back to camp. "Everybody, come quick! Riverstar is dead!"

[chupacabras]

Moonsong heard Littlemoons cry, and rushed to the scene. "Wha- Who- who did this?"

Sunpaw looked up at littlemoon and bounded after moonsong. She saw the body of their leader and froze, staring at blood pooling around him. Her eyes grew wide and her fur spiked up. She wanted to ask moonsong to fix him but all that came out was a squeak. She couldnt move her eyes from the broken body.

Shimmerpaw ran after the other cats curiously. When she saw her leader's dead body, she felt tears drip down her face. "At least....at least he'll be safe in s-starclan." She sniffled, smiling sadly.
