It was just a normal day and Amberheart was soaking up the sunshine on sunning rock, stretching out on the warm flat rocks she exposed her soft and vulnerable underbelly. Quick as a flash a shadow sped out the trees and Amberheart's belly was sliced open. Amberheart was left bleeding to death as the blood dripped down the rocks and stained the river red. The killer watched as the she cat writhed in pain but as soon as Amberheart was unmoving, they quickly slunk into the shadows.

Dashkit opened his bright blue eyes in the nursery. He smelled something strange, and went out in the camp clearing. He found out the stench was coming from sunning rocks and went to investigate. It was blood. "Where is Wildkit!" He yelled out to make sure the hurt or dead cat wasn't her.

Musestar heard a yowl, then looked towards the river to see blood. "Oh no!" she meowed.

Toffeestep was out for a walk, looking for Amberheart. He hadn't seen her all morning, which got him worried. All of a sudden, he froze, staring at the dead body of the she-cat laying on the rocks. He let out a loud mourn of horror and bounded over to his love's body. "No!" He sobbed, nosing her, hoping that she would wake up.

Shadowpaw was out hunting when she heard something. She rushed over to see a limp body of Amberheart. The shadow of the killer was already gone, but she saw a little bit of the killer. She rushed over to Amberheart's body, not bothering to chase the killer. "Help!" she yelled into the air. She stared at the body, hoping someone had heard her.

I padded out of the camp secretly to find Dashkit. "I'm right here!" I mewed as I gave Dashkit an affectionate lick.

Tumbletuft was idly chewing on a mouse bone by the kill-pile when she heard a yell. Instantly, she began panicking, and leaped up. "R- Rosepaw? Wh- Where are y- you?" she called frighteningly, nervously looking around for the Apprentice. If Rosepaw was injured, Tumbletuft would never forgive herself.
