It was a sunny day. Everycat was happy, but one. A cat went crazy and stalked up on a cat.. Vantasleap. They clawed the cat and then to finish them off, slit there neck. The dangerous cat slipped into the shadows, unseen. Nepetaclaw was concered about her mate and ventured off to find his dead, motionless body. She let out a wail and slit her neck, her body fell right beside Vantasleaps.

Moonkit padded out of the nursery. "It's so hot in there." She grumbled, heading for the clearing to see if anybody would play. A wail split the heavy atmosphere before she made it, though, and she pricked her ears and headed to the sound. Finding Nepetaclaw and Vantasleap, her eyes widened. Rushing back to the nursery, she screamed. "Help!" She dove back into her nest, shivering.

[- ; bonk!]

Crystalkit had been sleeping in the nursery, when she heard a blood-curdling screech from Moonkit. "Moonkit, whats wr-" She started to say, but when she smelt blood she was cut off. "Oh no..." She said, exiting out of the nursery. "Vantasleap! Nepetaclaw! No!" She screamed, rushing over.
