It was a nice warm day in Thunderclan. The clan was busy with activity, training, hunting, practicing, murder. Scarefoot had noticed that the clan was low on herbs and decided to go out and collect some. So he left, alone, to go look for herbs. As the medicine cat gathered up Horsetail there was a rustle in the bushes to his left. Scarefoot called a simple "Hello? Any cat there?". No reply. He turned back to gather up the horsetail and that's when the killer jumped out and slashed Scarefoot's throat. It was a quick kill and then the killer left. Before Scarefoot died he let out a cry for help and then fell dead.

Froststar stepped out of his den, taking in the sunshine on his face. He decided he wanted to go for a single-cat patrol. He padded across camp, greeting cats as he went. He took the trodden path that he took many times earlier and smelled something that wasn't there last time he patrolled alone. He followed the scent and came upon Scarefoot's dead body, Horsetail still in his paws. "S-Scarefoot? Scarefoot?!" Froststar panicked. He nudged the odd, it was cold. Froststar shivered. He rang out a yowl of pure sorrow.

Leafpaw smelt the air and gasped at Froststar's yowl, he ran over, expecting to see his leader dead(because of the yowl.), but found, worse, Scarefoot. "Scarefoot.." He cried.

[Affliction]

Wildpath shrieked at the body. "Who did this?!"

[Moorray]

Thrushpaw came out of the apprentice den. She smelled blood and went to investigate. She saw Scarfoot's limp body on the ground. "What happened!"

[wishbone!]

"I-I came out for my single patrol, and I found Scarefoot. I don't know why somebody, would, do this, but, when I find out who.." Froststar's eye twitched and his claws popped out as he scraped the ground with tears streaming down his face.
