Small-leopard woke up and stretched. He yawned and padded out of the Warrior's den, still groggy from his dream of chasing a dog out of camp. He saw everybody gathered around something, and he wondered what. "Why's everybody standing around for?" he asked and then he saw the two dead bodies of Rivershade and Silverwind. "What?! Who did this?" He said, shocked.

Tumblestar looked darkly up at Small-leopard. "We don't know. Were voting now. I think it was Shadowwhisper... She said she was at the fresh-kill pile, but nobody saw her there, and she was the one who found Silverwind and Rivershade," she muttered quietly.

"I have my doubts about Shadoewhisper too." I told them

Bright pool nodded. Tears dripped from her eyes. Shadow whisper.

Small-leopard had to make a vote, but he just got there! He wasn't sure he could make the vote, but he decided to go with everybody else. "Shadow-whisper, I'm sorry. But, I vote you." Small-leopard dropped his head and brushed his tail on Shadow-whisper's shoulder.

Larkpaw was reluctant to voe out a clanmate, but he knew who he would pick, and believed he had perfectly good reasons for it. He stayed silent in the shadows, though, as he had already cast his vote for Shadowwhisper. But the question still remained, nagging in his mind. Why would Silverwind suicide?
