Brightheart heard a screech in the distance and ran over to see what was wrong. She found Darkpaw dead next to the rabbit he was eating. "Darkpaw!"she gasped.

"Stripestar, what's happening? Why did Darkpaw die?" Frostheart asked warily ask she padded out of the Warriors den.

Gamheart ran to his best friend and looked over her shoulder. "Oh my gosh."

"Why would anyone do this, Gamheart?" Frostheart asked, sadness haunting her meow.
