It was a cool autumn evening, cats were beginning to get to their dens for the night. Echocry was on her way to the fresh kill pile when a claw slashed her throat. She let out a weak gurgling sound and fell to the ground, dead. Her mate, Hickorypelt, was right beside her the whole time. He wailed, but it was cut short as his throat was also slit open. Within a matter of moments, there were two cats dead in the middle of camp.

Jayflight turned his head sharply, he was sure he had heard a screech. Sticking his head out of the warriors den, he say two bodies next to the fresh kill pile, laying in a pool of blood. "Help! Someone get Stripestar!"

S T R I P E S T A R opened her eyes slowly as she yawned. Awakening from a long nap that she needed. She stood up and stretched her limbs and hopped off High rock. She saw in front of her two dead cats by the freshkill Pile and let out a small yowl, frightened and scared that they just were...there. she managed to get out when cats started to gather "d-dead"

Hopepaw was with Darkpaw, chatting, when she heard 2 shrieks, one from Hickorypelt, and one from Jayflight. "What's going one?!" Hopepaw cried, and rushed over. "C'mon Darkpaw!"

Mudstripe ran over to see what the commotion was about, just to find two cats dead. "Who would do such a thing?" he wondered out loud. He looked around suspiciously at the clan, knowing his life was in danger.

Burntfang was roused slightly in the nursery as she heard gurgling sounds. Getting to her paws and blinking the sleep from her eyes, she padded outside. Large belly brushing the ground, the pregnant queen gasped at the sight of Hickorypelt and Echocry. "Hickorypelt? Echocry?" Burntfang sobbed, tears swelling in her eyes. Soon enough, she had began to lick the blood from one of her friend's necks.

Rainwhisker peeked his head out of the warrior den to see what all the commotion was about. He was stunned to see two dead cats laying on the ground. Leaving the warriors den he padded over to join the cats surround the two dead ones.
