It was around noon and Gampaw had just been out training with his mentor earlier. He looked around, most cats were in their dens, he padded over to the fresh kill pile. Looking at the choices of prey, he bent down to choose a plump mouse when a strong warrior charged at him bowling him over. Gampaw tried to fight back but before he could even let out a warning screech, his throat was slit and he was left to die on the ground...

Clockpaw padded through the forest. "Gampaw!" He called. "Gampaw! Where are you? I don't wanna play anymore! Lets go chew on some sticks!" He stopped dead. Almost as dead as Gampaw. "No!" He cried, rushing to his friend. "No no no!" He began to sob. Then he saw some death berries just outside camp. Rushing over he pulled off a mouthful and swallowed. Then he too was dead.

Tunaflare heard a screech, his eyes widening as he spotted Gampaw. "NO!" he raced towards the tom apprentice, whimpering. He papped his friend one last time before glaring around. "Who did thith?!"

Alleystar padded out, soon hearing a scream. "Oh no, oh no! This cat cannot go!" she yelped. "Gampaw!"

Hopepaw was eating a plump squirrel, when she heard shrieks. Oh no... She ran to where she heard them and skrieked. "Noo!!" She ran over to a rock and scraped her face down it, 'sharpening' it. "Who could've done this!" She wailed.
