I sighed and looked around. The patrol was already out so maybe I could do a lone patrol. I walked out of camp, the sun beating down on my back. A smile slid across my face as I inhaled the sweet scents of the forest.

Ice scented a cat. She tried to hide, but her white pelt was too bright. "Uh-Oh" She muttered, ready to run.

As I continued to walk a strange scent hit the roof of my mouth. "Rouge..." I growled to myself. My eyes darted around as I soon found the intruder. Her white pelt made her stick out like a sore thumb. Lucky for me my grayish white pelt provided me some cover. I slowly slinked forward. Stopping I bunched up my muscles getting ready to spring. Once I was ready I sprang forward, claws out and ready for action.

Ice groaned, scared," Help!" The young cat squealed, only apperentice sized.

I blinked with surprise when I landed on an apprentice sized she-cat. Normally I would be tearing this rouge to shreds but, I have a soft side for the young ones. I got off her and helped her up. "Hey, why are you here?" I looked around then back at her.

[totally tyrannical.]

Sunkit went into the nursery and pulling out a pawful of moss from his nest. He then carefully rolled it into a ball and padded back to his new friend, the ball dangling from his jaws.

Ice replied tartly," I live here. My parents abondoned me and my sister is a kittypet. I knew one day someone would find me"

I grinned as Sunkit came back with a ball of moss. "Yippie!" I cheered. "Pass it over here!" I called out to him.

I sat down and listened to her explanation. "Hmm, I am sorry." I apologized to her. "Do you want to live a life as a rouge or, would you much rather one as a warrior?" I asked. Yes I should of probably asked my leader first but, I think she'll understand.

"Warrior..? But as a Loner you don't have to depend on anyone... But everyone hates you." She slumped down on the ground.

I smiled at her. "Yes, Loners try to make being a loner sound like fun but, I think it's boring and lonely. In a Clan you have friends and family that will always have your back. You have the opportunity to prove that you are mighty and strong." I looked down onto her.
