Have you ever heard of the Rares List? It's 3 lists of the rarest pets on the site. viewtopic.php?f=20&t=112366

My pet is a mid-Advent, making him worth actually 6-7 09 rares (I think those numbers are right).

The List helps trading a great deal. To start, aim for the lower pets and 'Paperclip' your way up! :3

It probably was. (Hmmm, maybe not. I'm not sure. XD) I had someone do that "sickly sweet" crap with me. They were being rude and we both knew it. They called me a newbie, unexperienced, blah blah blah because I canceled these:
Canceled, saying it was unfair to me.
So they send this. Again I cancel, telling them that I'm not looking for a trade down.
And then they PM'ed me, basically telling me I was an idiot, that I was a newbie, told me I didn't know how to run an auction, etc. [The set was UFA at the time.]
Funny thing is, everything they mentioned that an auction should have, I did. I even quoted it for them, but they still were just like "*pat on the head* Silly newbie." That's when they went on the foes list. XD

I don't like fake people. Fake traders. The whole "Oh, i'm such a good/nice/fair person" when they're really just rude. Dude, get off your high horse!

No, I cancelled a trade with that message xD They offered ne a 2010 rare for my Raven, and I didn't think they knew the list :3

I feel your pain, I had a Dark Pink Shima once, no one wanted it. I eventually got a Wolf PPS and something else for it, but it took ages. >.<

Trying to get another BA, this one to give to my mutual friend, bit I can't trade up with my rares or with C$. I have a trade set with someone, they want me to add September List pets on my side.

I just want to gift-bomb my friend by her birthday ;-;

Yeah. I've been trying to find a Black Advent to give to someone too.

Well by list... I could get BA... But no people are uber greedy...
Or... I could use my shima, my 3 advents, and rares to get me a non-balloon...

I always thought they were cute... but no one has one, and if I offer I get a cancel with no message...

No. It's not. I overpay when I want to, not when asked to. The pets and items could get me a low advent pet. I mean, I'm willing to overpay within reason, but this is just outrageous.
