Thornclaw hissed at the vet and arched her back, fur standing on end. She jumped off the examining table and jumped up on the girls shoulder, quickly slipping off. She kept her claws sheathed until jumping on the vet and slashing at its arm.

The vet grunted holding his arm. Katies mother said "oh my I'm so sorry!" the vet shook his head. Another man came in and strapped thornclaw in for surgery.
