The nurse held the phone to her ear. "Hello?" She listened. "Yes, this is the school." Another pause. "We just called to inform you your daughter was hit in the back of the head with a basketball." She waited. "Yes, that is all..... Okay, bye." She hung up the phone and put it back on the wall.
