GARGOYLESThe warren of Gargoyles reside in the savannah, which is dotted with many, although small, oasis. The warren has made camp in one said oasis, and they live in a system of interconnected
caverns underground, with a small pool near the entrance, which is usually used for the duties and medical purposes of the Acolyte. In order for any to join the Gargoyles, they must go through the initiation ceremony, a tradition with four stages, passed down through the generations. It goes as follows:
1. They must memorize and recite the Gargoyle laws in the correct order - they are the laws they live by.
2. Secondly, the must retrieve a small rock from the rattlesnake cage without being bitten.
3. Thirdly, and the final task, involves a demonstration of loyalty and strength. They are jumped into the warren by the members, which essentially requires the initiate to endure multiple kicks and/or punches of the body only to rise and stand firm.
After completing the final task, the initiate is congratulated by the other members, a sign of βgood sportsmanshipβ and are now accepted as one of their own. The last stage is a sign of respect - they must be willing to die for each other.
As shown, the Gryphons are a warren loyal to the death, a family apart from their blood. They are a close-knot group, all of whom who have respect for each other, and the laws, as stated below:
1. A Gargoyle never shows cowardice / No Gargoyle stands alone.
2. If a Gargoyle is killed, their family will be taken care of.
3. No Gargoyle is left for dead.
4. A Gargoyle never betrays his/her own.
5. In unity, there is strength.
Can
this be the founder of the Gargoyles?
