xxThe air felt tense as soon as Flamefoot's fur spiked up, and she pulled the kit against her carefully but careful not to squish the poor package with her paws. "Maybe it was a rogue's kit, and leaf-fall is coming soon. Maybe she was afraid; perhaps she thought the camp was better for her?" Goldenheart mumbled, curling up against the bundle and licking her gently to dry whatever still happened to be damp, hoping that doing so would warm up the kitten as well. "What... what should we say to Gardenia?" The molly's ears folded back, crudely aware of her presence in camp at the moment.

xxDapplepool pressed her warm tongue against the queen's forehead, attempting to reassure her. "Starclan protects her, you know this as well as I do; she's our only medicine cat, and like it or not Gardenia couldn't live without her." She meowed lowly, glancing at the medicine cat with soft eyes. No doubt she was bombarded already, she needed StarClan's guidance. "Trust me, she's safe."

xxThe scent of the second apprentice caught her off guard before her nose shoved into the prey pile, fishing out a soft brown mouse before dropping it promptly after she was spoken to, but at her feet rather than back into the pile. The pretty brown molly had always been one of her best friends, ever since the two had started their apprenticeship of course, and she was actually quite glad to have someone like her around in these trying times. Cinderpaw smiled, then purred, shrugging her shoulders as she assumed the other molly was referring to her trip up.
"I'm okay!" She assured, almost chuckling at Laburnumpaw's worry, she could always depend on her to make sure she was safe. "I just tripped up because I was so tired, I suppose. I hope you slept well, too?" She purred louder for a moment, tucking her paws in as she sat down, flicking her tail beside her as to invite the older apprentice to sit and share. "Here, come eat with me and we can share dreams! Mine was especially nice."

"Yes, let's head out." He lashed his tail. "Lilypaw, come with me." He meowed, knowing he was breaking a rule. Gardenia won't mind if it's a lesson, surely. He lead the patrol into the forest.

She finished up with Moonfire's wound and turned to his mate. She looked at the she-cat.
"Just make sure to keep the infection out." She sighed. She directed her attention to Flamefoot and the small bundle he had. "Can you nurse it?" She asked Goldenheart, not sure if the queen could or not. "We can tell her it's yours and Howlfrost's, he is your arranged pair, correct?"

Lillypaw walked out with Shatteredheart head and tail held high. She only froze a second as she walked by Gardenia. She knew Shatteredheart was breaking a rule but she hoped she could prove that mollies could be great hunters too.

Frostwolf sat on the opposite side of the spirit river. She realized she was in quartz territory but she thought she was far enough away that she wasn't causing any harm. Frostwolf looked down at whitekit by her paws and realized how tired he was. She thought she felt a little bit of drizzle come down from the clouds but she didn't think she could find good enough shelter for where they were at now. Joining the quartzclan has passed her mind a couple times and maybe that's why she cant seem to move on from this clan. But she was still wary about bringing her little one to a place of unknown dangers. She knew she could protect him here but in a clan that she did not know, was probably a terrible idea. She will just stake them out for now. Frostwolf picked up her kit and headed towards the clearing. Trying to get as close to camp as possible without being noticed.

Whitekit sat beneath his mother's belly and between her paws. His eyes drooping from being sleep deprived. He slowly started to drift off until his head slammed to the ground and he was out like a light.

Bearstrike headed to the nursery after finished talking with lostgaze. He should be more in his kits life. And at least attempt to get along with his mate. He liked to think that if she hadn't have gotten pregnant so quick into their relationship, they might have ended up happy. And if she had given birth to at least one son, maybe he would be around more. Though relationships don't come easy to Bearstrike. He's slightly unavailable emotionally, ever since he was a little kit. Bearstrike approached swiftsky and cleared his throat. Nervous about how he should start since he hadn't been around much since she gave birth.

Moonfire's eyes followed Littleshadow into the medicine cat den and then out. As bumblingbrook finished his bandaging her turned back to twistedpaw. He looked at the apprentice gruffly. "Lets go train." was all he said as he nodded to the apprentice and slightly limped out of the den. He noticed gardenia back in camp and forced himself to walk with pride and without the limp despite how much it hurt him. He didn't want to show any weakness in this clan.

The charcoal snow bengal hadn't been able to sleep for very long in the night, and has been out in the forest since then. He had been having nightmares for a while, about his ex-mate accusing him of abandoning her and Spider for a clan cat. Sure, he could ask Bubblingbrook for some poppy seeds to help him sleep, or stay up being useful. He'd rather the latter.

The sleek white tom decided to just drop it, he hadn't wanted to pick a fight, just to leave the camp. He headed out of the camp, not even bothering to look behind him or at Gardenia, as having Lilypaw come with wasn't exactly his choice. "C'mon, Ducksong." He nudged the young warrior, accidentally startling said tom, flicking his whiskers in amusement as he continued out.

The soft tuxedo had been stuck in his thoughts yet again, what was with that? Once he had been nudged, he jumped, most likely causing a few chuckles, and felt his prickle with embarrassment. He cleared his throat and quickly followed the older warriors, hardly even noticing Lilypaw.

The darker-spotted sphynx had already been out of the apprentice's den for a while, and easily noticed his mentor on his way out of the camp. He followed after the patrol, simply assuming that his mentor would want him to come along. He was a bit worried though, from the dark smirk Shatteredheart had given Lilypaw.

He run after the leaf for a while, but the play started to feel bored easely, stopping to run he looked around the clearning for anyything to do. She watched the clearning, seeingone of the youngest queen walking toward the apprentices den, at the first she didn't see it anyway weird, but flicked her eras in suprise when she called for her name "...I am fine I think, just waiting my mentor to ask me to do something...even clearning someones dirty, smelling nest is better than sit there doing nothing" she meowed sighing.

He rolled his eyes "alright..." he simply meowed, looking toward the leader when the she-cat showed up with Raggedpaw. He gived a small smile when noticed his mentor to trying to act cool around the silver feline, even though he was climping very badly, but so was he. Maybe now Moonfire will see what is it like, when your legs are not working properly, thoguth for him that was only temporary.

I sat outside the apprentice den, licking my paws clean after having spent a long while cleaning out the dens with new moss bedding. It was tiring work of course, but I never complained. I have to do my part after all, it's Gardenia's will. I couldn't see our leader from where I sat, but I knew she must be watching over the camp like she usually does. I shivered, wrapping my tail around my paws as a particularly cold gust of wind blew by. Red tinged leaves danced in the air as the gale carried them past me. Leaf-fall was soon, no doubt.

I didn't want to stay idle for too long, so I decided to head over and check on the queens in the nursery, make sure they were comfortable. Ever since Gardenia became our leader, the nursery has become especially packed. More so than i'd ever seen it, in my kithood at least.

Moonfire watched his apprentice quietly. He never asked what made him limp. To be fair Moonfire wasn't one to really care as long as he did what he was supposed to. Though, being part cripple now made him realize how hard Twistedpaw must be struggling some days. Still,
still... Moonfire wasn't going to take it easy on Twistedpaw. Because of Twistedpaw's disability he has to work extra hard. He has to live through blood and sweat to be the best of the best and that was exactly what Moonfire was going to teach him. He wanted this apprentice to succeed. He wanted him to be the best of anyone and Moonfire was going to see it through. "Tell me, where did we leave off? NO! SHOW me what you already know." Moonfire corrected himself all in one sentence. He lead Twistedpaw into the clearing and sat down politely off to the side. Mostly because his shoulder ached and he wanted it to heal properly.

The orange tom lied on his back at the edge of camp, belly exposed. The sun was up and warmed his stomach, he softly purred at the feeling. He gazed at the busy camp, wondering where help was needed. Maybe the queens need help, he thought to himself, or I could go hunt. Both ideas bothered him, he remembered the thrill and the peace before Gardenia, not the constant work. He noticed her enter and speak to raggedpaw, his whiskers twitching angrily.

The molly had just woken, somewhat excited to get her paws moving. She spotted SnailFang across camp, who seemed to have just woken herself, and eagerly trotted over. "Good morning SnailFang," she chippered, "any plans for today? Something that isn't moss or ticks?" Her last remark ended with disdain. Her jobs as a future queen were immensely boring, so deep down every morning she awoke with hope of change, but with no solution just yet.

the cat from hell had left with howlfrost and now a few of the toms were leaving to go on a hunting patrol. to the molly, this meant that she could relax, just a little. soulflame sighed, eyes surveying the area in a calculating manner. she was bored and she needed some sort of entertainment somehow, she just had to find it.

the tom simply followed everyone out the camp without another word. shatterheart's words to the apprentice wasn't exactly needed and the onyx tom was growing slightly annoyed with his disregard for respect towards the she-cats.
