Her fur bristled when the elder asked Brownspring to share prey with her. She sits by the nursery enterance, only to be accompanied by that same ho pain It just comes and goes, doesn't it. She notices her slim body getting a bit rounder. She lays down trying to hide it. She closes her eyes and lets the sun hit her face.

She stayed near the apprentices den entrance scanning the clearning for her mentor, but didn't see Cloudstep anywhere 'oh well maybe he is out of hutning or something' she thought flicking her tail notcing Amberpaw there "Hello Amberpaw, are you looking for your mentor too?" she meowed to her.

Walking away to find the cats she needed to find "Demonflight, you will go to the patrol with me and...uh? Stormypaw are you seen Lionfang yet?" he meowed to the tom apprentice, giving a greetings to Ashpaw and Rainypaw too.

Her shoulders dropped and it took everything in her to not at least attempt to sneak a look around the camp for Cherryblossom and Ryebreeze. She frowned and shook her head "I don't believe that Falconblaze." she said softly. "You obviously care deeply for her.. And who knows maybe it's just going to be hard at first. Maybe it's just gotta be hard before it gets better. But the best things in life are never the easiest.." she paused, letting out a soft sigh. "Believe me, if I could convince Ashstar to switch mine and Cherryblossom's places I would. I'd much rather see you with the she-cat you actually like than with your friend." she smiled slightly "At least, I consider us friends." Riverbriar this time did sneak a glance in Ashstar's direction. For a brief moment she considered saying something but she knew better than to be that foolish.

Sootnose slowly walked out of the warrior's den, glancing behind her as her brother padded out after her. She offered him a small smile before she moved away from him. He was probably interested in looking for Hazelmoon, she'd seem to have most of his attention lately. She sat down alone curling her tail around her as she began to groom her fur. The tiny she-cat was probably easy to miss given her dark fur and her choice of sitting alone in the shadows on the side of camp but she didn't really mind. She wasn't really looking for anyone except maybe Nightpaw later. He was almost done training.. It wouldn't be long now until he got his warrior ceremony..

Shadowstep looked up as Hazelmoon came over, he felt his pelt grow hot for a moment before he tried to push his nervousness out of his mind. He nodded "Er.. I'm fine just tired." he said. He tried to act casual but it was hard with her so close, he shouldn't be so nervous she was his mate after all.. But try telling that to his racing heart. "I'm probably just not going to sleep early enough, i'm always tired in the morning." he said.

Rainypaw brightened up, no need to let her worries affect anyone else after all. "Hello Ashpaw! It's so wonderful to meet you." she replied cheerfully. She frowned slightly as the warrior she wasn't very familiar with came over to take Stormypaw. She never seemed to get any time with her siblings anymore. She hadn't even had a chance to say hello to Cloudypaw recently either.. She shook her head, offering Stormypaw a small sad smile "See you around." she said before she turned her attention to Ashpaw. "You warrior apprentices are always so busy.. I try to catch up with you guys but I always seem so far behind." she shook her head.

Stormypaw glanced between his sister and his friend as they began to speak. He pricked his ears, turning his head as Spiritwhisker came over, he looked slightly disappointed but he didn't blame Spiritwhisker she didn't make patrols after all. Glancing back at Ashpaw and Rainypaw he shot them an apologetic look "Sorry, see you later." he said quickly. He briefly worried over whether they'd get along when he left but his sister seemed to get along with everyone so surely she could get along with Ashpaw right? He moved away from them, stepping closer to Spiritwhisker and shook his head "Not yet, but I haven't gone looking for him yet either. Have you checked the warrior's den? He's usually awake but maybe he slept in?" he offered giving her a small shrug.

Heathersmoke padded out of the warriors' den and sat in the clearing. Her eyes immediately fell on Cinderheart, and she wondered what she was going to do about the rebellion. My last mate died and now I have the grumpiest mate in the world, Heathersmoke thought with a shiver. She didn't mind Foxclaw, but she didn't like his temper. Why can't we just choose our own mates or decide that we don't want a mate in the first place? she thought, curling her tail around her paws.

I'm not feeling so well and I think I should visit the medicine cat," she asked her mate with a slight tilt of her head.

Oh no, I hope I didn't miss patrols, he thought as he rushed out of the den. He glanced over and saw Stormypaw talking to Spiritwhisker. At least my apprentice is awake, he thought.

Ashstar gave his mate a loving smile as he listened to her speak. "Very good." He glanced over at Spiritwhisker, hoping he hadn't intruded on anything important. As Dappledheart began to speak again, his ears perked. "Of course!" The tom exclaimed. A worried expression took over his face. "I'll come check on you as soon as I can!" He took a step closer to his mate, leaning forward as he gently nuzzled her cheek. The meow of another cat startled the leader. He turned around to see Whitestrike. "Yes, Whitestrike? What is it?"

Mouseberry -- Open

Nightpaw noted Scarface's cold response. Taking that as a hint to leave, he turned around and headed out of the den. His eyes scanned over the camp clearing, searching for his mentor. It took him a moment before he was able to successfully locate her. Trotting over to where the she-cat sat, he grinned. "Hello, Sootnose. What are the plans for today?" He hoped he could hurry and finish his training as an apprentice and receive his warrior name. Though, at the same time, he didn't want to rush being assigned a mate.

Falconblaze sighed. He hated having to discuss this type of information with the cat he was assigned to be mates with. "Thanks, Riverbriar. I'm glad you're okay with this." The tom shook his head. "Who knows? Maybe one day we'll understand why Ashstar has so much faith in the arranged mating system." Rolling his eyes he snorted. "Until that day comes, I guess we'll just deal with it." His tail brushed across the dirt as it curled up beside of him. "I really do appreciate your help though, Riverbriar. I'm feeling a bit better."

Speckledust nodded his head. "I'd love to come along." He gave his mate a cheeky grin, "Thanks for letting me sleep in a little bit. I feel great after having that little bit of extra sleep!" His eyes scanned around the rest of the patrol. "Oh!" The tom exclaimed. "You can go on ahead, I'll catch up shortly! It would be good for me to bring my apprentice along." Without waiting for a response, the tom turned around and began to search the camp clearing for his apprentice. "Badgerpaw!" He yowled out as he approached the apprentice. "Would you like to come along on a hunting patrol with me?" Noticing Cloudypaw, he gave the young she-cat a smile. "I'm sorry to have to take away Badgerpaw for a little bit."

Honeykit's eyes blinked open. She looked around and saw that Sagekit had vanished. Jumping up to her paws the kit padded around the nursery in search of her sister. "Sagekit!?" She exclaimed, only to receive no response. Noticing that her mother was still asleep, Honeykit decided to look for her sister outside the nursery. She made her way into the camp clearing, her eyes were wide as she looked around at all of the other warriors. Everyone was so big compared to her and her sister!

She looked at the younger cat feeling little bit akward, because she was tecnically sleeping in same Warriors den as her mate Lionfang was and still she didn't even see him when she got out of it. Sighing she smiled to the apprentice "Yeah we could see if he is still asleep..." she meowed, but stopped when regonised her mate standing outside of the Warriors den shocked "Lionfang? we was just talking about you...Dappledheart wants you and Stormyskies to join a border patrol...leaded By me..." she meowed feeling so embrassed.

"You know you shouldn't be in here," he added, raising his brow at her, but his amber eyes shone with thinly veiled amusement.

He would have liked to stay and talk to the pretty she-cat, but he couldn't afford to miss patrols now that he was so close to finally getting his warrior name. "See you later then," the black-and-white tom meowed with a smile, before following after Speckledust to join the hunting patrol.

Dawnpaw sat down at the camp entrance, shuffling her paws impatiently. After being stuck on moss duty the day before, she had a lot of excess energy and couldn't wait to be out in the forest. But she didn't want to bother her mentor since Riverbriar seemed occupied at the moment and so the cream-furred apprentice decided to just wait for a bit until it was time to go training.

She felt a pain in her stomach from time to time, and her belly had seemed to get bigger over the last couple of weeks. She shifted her paws as she glanced down. Could I be expecting? she wondered, starting to get worried.

She nodded." Alright, sounds good." She started to to head out until Speckledust said to bring his apprentice. " Okay, just don't take too long. " She added. " So should we go now? " She asked Riverstone. " The sooner we go out the sooner the clan can eat. " She mewed enthusiastically. She wanted to start hunting but she kept reminding herself that Riverstone was leading, not her.
