My family does not celebrate Christmas, but I wish we did.

We sit around the tree until everyone is awake....my Dad passes out presents from my grandparents, then we have breakfast. after breakfast we open gifts from our parents then exchange the gifts we got for each other. we don't live near any family so we usually have friends over who are also alone for the holidays. its always a lot of fun.

On Christmas Eve, we typically have family join us so we can all pick out a movie, a mug, and we each get to pick out a bag of candy for everyone, but since that unfortunately didn't happen this year, my friend Sabrina from Texas was going to spend the holidays alone, so we invited her to spend it with us! And on Christmas day, after we eat breakfast and open gifts, we go outside and my siblings and I will hold our own 'Olympics'. We tack up the horses, lace up our shoes, and start up our four wheelers, and race!

I with my Mom,my sister,and me we every other year celebrate christmas in Miami,Flordia. We have family there and it is fun to invite aunts and uncles and cousins, all they way from Texas! It is so fun making cookies, and eating them! So fun opening presents with family! This year and last year I got a 100$ bill!,my sister and step sister did too!,and my cousin!

My family always celebrates the same way: on Christmas Eve at our house. We invite all of our family and close friends for a traditionalish Polish dinner called Wigilia. It is quite funny because we live in sunny south africa and in many ways the celebration is quite out of place.

On a normal year my family would be cooking now and getting ready to serve our five course meal. My dad would have finished making fish cakes and would be tampering with my moms beetroot soup behind her back. My sister and I would be setting the long table. It is usually hot, still light until late, and the air is sweet with blooming flowers and buzzing with insects. Our family would be arriving soon to eat and make toasts and open gifts (one per course of food). This year we are in Europe and it is the first time jb 15 years that we have broken tradition. I feel very sad and nostalgic about it.

One of our holiday traditions, is to celebrate Christmas in pj's with hot cocoa, by the fireplace, opening presents. It's a tradition probably most ppl do haha but its quit enjoyable.

I go to DISNEY WORLD every other year.

I wake up at like 5:30am then I get my Christmas stocking and run into my mum's room and catapult onto their bed. Then we sit and look what's in my stocking and once we have done that we go downstairs and open the presents under the tree. Then we go to my nan's and have a Christmas party! Last time I did manage to get up the stables with my BFF (Pony power 1000) and have a sleepover by ourselves with my horse (a 14hh dapple grey called Storm) and my friend's horses (both 14.2hh dark bays called Tweedle - Dum and Tweedle - Dee!)

We don't really have any traditions that are special: But in my country, most people are christian so we go out to random people's houses: some only go to carol to sing carols at their friends doors, or go to churches. We sing carols about Jesus being born, bringing the Christmas spirit into everyone's house. Of course the decorating is important. On the Christmas Eve I go with my parents to our family's friends and I sing carols. Sometimes my parents sing a bit too and it's really funny. It became a tradition around 2-3 years ago, so it is quite new. But the person I ALWAYS go to is one of my best friends and we have a load of fun. ( Fun fact: Ironically, I am actually typing this in one of my parent's friends house...Because I came here to sing carols. Now they gave me their laptop and I am able to write this <3 All of them are eating now, but I am not hungry so I declined the offer ). Altough, I live in Romania, a small country in Europe. And here, there are a whole bunch of traditions that lie here from hundreds of years ago, diferrent in every part of the country. I find that fascinating so on the Christmas morning I usually go on the internet on the hunt for information about Christmas traditions. Okay, I can't type much more, I have to leave soon..To go to my best friend's house as I was talking...I also usually sit up very late on the Christmas eve, because I'm very excited..When I wake up, my parents are usually like ''Why don't you go look under the tree?''.I unbox the presents, then I usually do things with them ( like if I get,lets say a sewing kit to sew a plushie I would usually do that ). After I just stay in my pajamas all day and watch Christmas movies.Later, my grandmother prepares a big lunch and we go there in family. Then we check what presents are under my grandma's tree. Err, enough writing. I'mma just go and read all of your guys wonderful traditions.

Well, on Xmas eve we always lounge around in our PJs and drink coffee and eat cookies, then when its nighttime before we go to sleep we all open one present, leave out cookies and milk, and mix glitter and oats and throw it on the roof for the reindeer XD then we go to sleep, and in the morning(about 6) we all rush out and screech, and then we organize the presents and get everything out of our stockings, and then we start opening! After opening we eat latkas(idk why) and go over to my god family's house, and then hang out there the rest of the day!
