On Christmas Eve, my family likes to go out for dinner and when we get home we open up a new pair of Christmas pajamas, get dressed in them, and read a new Christmas book together that my grandmother sends us every year. On Christmas morning, me and my siblings wake up and go into one of our bedrooms and wait for our parents to wake up, usually around 8:00 or 9:00. While we wait we like to watch the movie A Christmas Story. Once my parents wake up, we all take turns opening our gifts one by one and it takes like two hours. After the gifts have all been opened, we eat my mom's homemade cinnamon rolls for breakfast. Then we relax at home with our new gifts and listen to a Christmas CD that we make each year. It's a great day!

We usually go to church, then eat at a resturant called Oxy. Though, since Christmas is on Friday this year, we will open our gifts and my mum will cook lots of food and everything. Besides that we'll be full during night haha.

Our holiday tradition consists of getting each other something of our seperate wish list and putting up a tree (the day after Thanksgiving) then we open the gifts Christmas Eve cause we go to his mom's for the day of Christmas and have family Christmas with hubby's siblings and mom and stepdad.

This Christmas us hard since we've had to change traditions since the ones that usally host my family christmas eve have passed away. But what we usally do us on Christmas eve we gey together with family and the me and mom usally go to late church. Then in the morning we open presents and just relax.
This year we are getting family together day before Christmas eve, as people are doing last minute things that day.

Most of the time for Christmas, I spend my time in England, although I keep holding onto the Polish tradition. 12 different types of food, a prayer before we eat, drink beetroot soup, look out for the first star in the sky (I can get panic attacks when finding it, it's exciting!) And leaving a place space incase Jesus comes. Oh! I almost forgot, you have to put hay under the sheet which is on the table.
This year, I'm doing it in Poland. Its going to be the same just this time I'm only spending the time with the people I love and care about.

We don't really have many except either having fancier foods for Christmas like turkey or chicken or eating sandwiches. It depends on how much money we have leftover from the month. Christmas itself is usually just a few minutes of opening gifts, since we don't usually get more than 3 cheaper ones per person, and then me playing with my cat for an hour tossing wrapping paper to her as she chases it. Then the rest of the day is usually kind of silent with the sound of Christmas specials playing on TV, and for me, the silence is kind of not okay and depressing, since Christmas is usually associated with family, but my dad never lets us visit any of the rest of the family because he refuses to let me socialize offline half the time. I'm an only child, so my cat is the one who keeps us all occupied as she plays with the wrapping paper.

Gonna spend it this year writing essays lol
We don't have many winter traditions. Trees are too much effort, and we're in a place that regularly snows AFTER new year hahaha ;~; But sometimes we go out to buy hot chocolate and get candy

Presents... The only presents I've wanted for years: 1) peace and quiet in the house, and 2) spending some of the time that I usually spend on school stuff with my sister instead. I usually force them to give me #2, but my sister and I don't always get #1 >.>
Sometimes I draw pics for my IRL friends, and they do the same

On Christmas Eve I go to my grandparents and have Christmas with them and my extended family. Christmas morning I usually have hot cocoa with buttermilk waffles. We look in our stockings first, then sort out everyone's presents before any of us open them. (We really just do because my brother insists to build a small fort with the wrapped boxes before we tear them apart.) After were done with presents we sometimes go outside and play in the snow. However there's no snow right now, which is really odd for where I live, we should normally have a foot or two by now :c

not very active on here anymore.

My family tradition is to sit around the table just me, mom and dad and say a prayer before we eat but this year we have all our reakations over , after that we brake a big piece of holy bread with a picture of jesus on it and pass it around the table. then we eat 12 different meals and well uselessly spend our time sitting around the table . In the morning I wake up and wait till my lazy parents wake up and then we go down and open our presents , then all the kids play with toys all day and the parents are cleaning up all day and yeah , we stay in PG's all day

well, usually we are at our relatives for christmas. they live in wisconsin, which is 600 miles away, so this year we didn't go (my dad did, though).
the night before we usually go to a christmas eve service. our grandparents come over and we open up presents from them + play christmas bingo (which is a ton of fun! ;w;) and two of my cousins and i stay up super late chatting. the next day we wake up really early and their mother is usually making cinnamon rolls + sticky buns by that time. us three girls go downstairs and sit in their huge den (like a living room) on one of the couches. once everyone wakes up they all crowd in and we read the christmas story from the bible. thennnn we open all of our stockings & eat the buns while we all take turns opening our gifts, which usually takes about 2-3 hours since there's a lot of us!
it's really weird not being there, but i'm excited to spend christmas just with (most of) my immediate family. we're going to go to a christmas eve service at our church and the next morning we'll let our two dogs in (a huge golden retriever & a lab/collie mix c:). they'll lay next to us as we eat cinnamon rolls and open up our stockings + presents. my sister and i went christmas shopping and wrapped all of the gifts yesterday, so i'm really starting to get in the christmas spirit. c:
