I think it would be awesome to see pets from 2008 as PPS, especially as an Advent gifts. It would be something exciting for newer users and a sort of throwback for older users. Of course, these PPS's wouldn't have the extreme rarities of their fully-grown counter parts, but they would still have some sort of value due to WHAT they are. I feel like that would also make them exciting. I also love a lot of the original 2008 dog designs, so. I'd love to see them stuck as forever-babehs. c: For example...

this would be a dream come true <3 especially the BA and BMD! i think if they were made pps they would be more popular than the real ones! haha
