What would be your dream Summer Event theme??

1000% agree there should be some sort of cowboy/western theme, it would be so fun!!

other suggestions: old movie/hollywood esque, hero/magical girl vs villains, mystery/clue/sherlock type event, zoo, cafe/dessert (similar to candy event ik, but lattes, cakes, macaroons, etc). some sort of pastel themed event would be cool but not sure what it could be called/be

I think an antique or collectible theme would be really cool! I adore glass and toy-themed pets, plus you could have the event evolve to include magical items and ghosts if you wanted to go the ‘haunted antiques’ route!

I would also love love LOVE to see a DND-inspired Summer event! I’m not sure if copyright comes into play at all, but I think you could get some AMAZING designs out of it

- something snowy/arctic! like maybe set at an antarctic base?

about 11 years ago i suggested a zoo trip, and i still feel like that could be really fun; there's no need to keep it to a realistic zoo the entire way through... since zoos are places to see ALL types of animals, there could always be fantasy animals involved too :>

my incredibly biased suggestion is cowboys. There is SO MUCH there - desert themed animals, cacti, cowboy hat accessories, different horse types... that would be awesome.

i've always been a huge advocate for a time travel theme,,,,, going back in time to certain periods and being able to adopt pets inspired by that, perhaps with some small info and/or fun facts! i also like the cowboy/western and old hollywood themes that i just saw mentioned in this thread, but it just passed my mind just now that those could both be incorporated into a historical time travel theme :0 perhaps there could also be a section that is futuristic, too.

(note: i know the cave event was technically time travel but there's also so much more of history to explore outside of that. i just think something that explores an array of different time periods (in different countries too, there's no point in it being eurocentric) would be extremely fascinating.)

i see a lot of cowboy and i am on board with it. could i get 15 different kinds of cowboy hat?

does it make me a dork if i say “Back to School”? i used to really like those kinda silly job/school ads with people dressed in outfits that anyone could at-a-glance describe as a given profession. every scientist wearing a lab coat and holding a beaker. any kind of construction / technician wearing a hard hat and hi-vis vest. for some reason doctors always had a stethoscope around their neck. computer tech guys in a dark room with green code on a bunch of screens.

you know what i mean! do you? maybe it was just my hometown colleges that put these out. now that i have a day job, it is my favourite thing to make fun of it.
