What would be your dream Summer Event theme??

This is a mix of Fea Mischief and the Mining/Prehistoric Events we already had just because people went on and on about cryptids (which we know we will find because of this). There’s no mystery at all. At least the pets are cute….

idk if i were to think of a new theme i'd probably go with a wild west one, idk it's the only one i can come up with that doesn't seem to overlap with other past events

Yeah, there's no excitement because we know exactly what will happen in the 2nd part of event. Cryptids are inevitable.

Something childhood play based, like park and make belive items
Pets based on childhood nistolga or games that we're played when we we're kids type stuff I think it would be so cool

Has there been a music themed one? Like a music festival where the different event pages are different bands or like the first aide tent or something like that? I think it would be pretty cool to get different festival goer esc pets! If this has been done, in my defense, I do live under a rock and only come on here once or twice a year....

Yo?? That would be so sick!! And no that hasn't been done before. There could be items centered around diffrent tickets for the diffrent "bands" or like festival braclets!!! Theres so much you could do with that idea!! /vpos

I highly doubt it, the chance of a curveball is literally nonexistant - they did not choose to be unique with the overall theme, there's no reason to believe they will step away from the other part of the camp suggestion. Camp and cryptids were always suggested together.

So yeah, there will 99,9% chance be cryptids. *yawn* The most predictable event ever.

I also fail to see how this is a repeat of fae mischief & prehistoric events. Completely different themes and completely different pets. Not every event that takes place outside in nature is the same event...

Personally I adore the theme of this event and I look forward to the cryptid turn it's likely to take! So far I think this camping event is quite unique and charming—we've got a whole summer camp to explore, plenty of arts and crafts to do, and seemingly many outdoor adventures to come! Maybe next year we can go to a music festival, to juxtapose the relative quiet peacefulness of camping (;

I very much agree, the only real similarities between this event and Fae Mischief are that they take place in the woods...with some version of camping starting them off.

Camping on your own in the woods isn't the same as a summer camp. Fairies and mythical creatures do not equal cryptids. The fae mischief theme was all cottage-core vibes and magic and woodland critters, while this is very much SUMMER CAMP (with maybe future cryptids). The pets, items, NPCs, flavor text, tokens, etc. are VERY much distinct from each other.

Same with the prehistoric event. It was literally about DINOSAURS AND PREHISTORIC ANIMALS, it had NOTHING to do with camping?? We went back in time through a portal to see DINOSAURS!! There were tar pits. That is not camping, and I fail to see how the two are being equated at all? Because what, they take place outside??

I'm sorry to anyone that's upset over the chosen theme for this year, and you're allowed to be disappointed. But don't go equating things that aren't the same. And remember that there are plenty of summer events in the future that can implement more theme suggestions you liked!
