Intro:
Well, here we all are on this soon-to-be-THRILLING morning! Welcome, one and all.
As you know, the SkyWing kingdom has decided to borrow the concept of an amusing tournament frequently held by scavengers.
To that end, we've dumped 24 dragons into our glorious arena, and they're all geared up for a battle to the death!

Aaaand that's when I finally managed to wrestle the keyboard away from Queen Scarlet. Ahem.



Actual Intro:
Yes, it's another fandom Hunger Games! This time, we'll be using fan characters from the
Wings of Fire series by Tui Sutherland. (Yep. We're going full dragon.)

For those unfamiliar with the fandom-hunger-games concept:
CS users are invited to fill out the provided forms and enter a chosen character (or two) into the roster.
Once there are 24 contestants, a mod or I will use the BrantSteele Hunger Games simulator
to see what happens to these poor unfortunate souls dragons.

We will post the results of each day on this thread for all to see- anyone is free to spectate and comment!
Each day/night/event will be posted one by one, a few minutes apart, to give members and spectators
time to comment on the situation.

General Rules:

▸ As per usual, all CS rules apply. (It would be weird if they didn't.)

▸ Don't rush me or the mods! Please, no posts like "When will forms be open?" Be patient; things will move along in due time.

▸ No reserving spots before a mod opens a round. Please ONLY post forms once a mod has stated that forms are open.

▸ Forms will automatically be closed after all the spots are filled. Please try not to post forms after this time.

The first breach of these rules will result in a warning; the second will result in a strike.

Timing:

▸ A mod has 48 hours to finish a round once it has begun.

▸ If the round is not finished after 48 hours, another mod should take over and either restart the current round or open forms for a new round. I leave it to the mod to decide which is more appropriate.

▸ When a round finishes, a mod may host a new round after 15 minutes have passed.

Character Rules:

▸ You may enter either 1 or 2 characters.

▸ Unlimited hybrids are allowed.

▸ There can only be 1 animus dragon per round.

▸ There can be up to 2 princes/princesses per round.

▸ There can only be 1 queen or king per round.

▸ Canon characters are allowed.

▸ No fanmade species yet, please.

▸ No Nightwings born under three moons. (Translation: no Darkstalkers.)

▸ Ranks and powers are only for show and do not affect the outcome of the game.

Extra note: You may enter nonbinary or genderless characters, but please keep in mind that the BrantSteele simulator only provides male and female for gender options. This means that if your character uses non-gendered pronouns, the mods have to sift through the text and manually replace the gendered pronouns with non-gendered ones.
Please remember this fact, and be patient with us if we miss a correction and your character is accidentally referred to as "he" or "she" during the round.

If you'd like to include an image of your character with your form, you may link to:

▸ Art you have created yourself

▸ Any free-to-use stock images of dragons

▸ Pictures from dragon makers such as Wyndbain's (2.0 here) or Pidgepudge's



Please DO NOT link to someone else's Wings of Fire fanart as a reference for your character! This will earn you a strike.

To the best of my understanding, the dragon species lineart by Joy Ang is available for personal non-commercial use. You may color in the official species line art and use it as a reference for your character.
