Kennel of Rushing Water
Number of Dogs: 1 (M:1 F:0)

Aurora stood tall, a proud smile on her muzzle as she bathed in the moonlight. She surveyed her territory from her perch, a tall boulder that jutted out by the water's edge, and she let out a booming howl.
"Thank you my ancestors, for this territory and kennel I have been given the opportunity to make." She paused to dip her head in respect.
"I ask that you continue to bless this kennel as we grow. Oh, wise ancestors, please watch over us and guide my pawsteps as their alpha." She looked at his paws as she thought, before piping up again.
"Now, I make my request. I ask for a faithful companion, to help me raise this kennel. Thank you.." With a parting cry, Aurora bounded down the perch with a newfound skip in her step and a glimmer in her eye.
"May the Kennel of Rushing Water grow strong."

Current Weather : Summer is in full swing! Dogs are more likely to catch more prey and humans with their companion dogs are more likely to wonder into your territory.

Dayton and Florence bundled ahead of Trenton into the camp. Trenton smiled fondly at his friends, glad that he had them. Even though Trenton had been hoping for a more calmer dog to join, Dayton ended up being just as excitable and energetic as Florence was. "Be careful." He laughed. Even though they were all around the same age, Trenton felt like he had to watch out for them and take care of them like a dam did with her pups.

"Are we going to go back out soon?" Dayton asked, turning to face his leader. Florence paused a couple of steps behind him, looking back at Trenton as well, her tail starting to wag excitedly.

"Yes. You two go hunting." Trenton said. Dayton and Florence yipped happily and turned on their paws, darting out of the camp.

"I can't believe you followed me." Chelsea grumbled, glaring down at her younger sister. Aspen trotted happily between Trenton and Chelsea, her tiny tail wagging excitedly. "Mom and Dad are going to kill you." The she-dog shook her head before looking at Trenton.

"No, they won't." Aspen grumbled. "Mom and Dad don't care where I am. If they let you leave, then they should be fine with me leaving too." The tiny, warm brown she-dog jutted her muzzle out stubbornly and strutted ahead of the two older dogs. Trenton snickered in amusement before looking at Chelsea.

"I had younger siblings. I know how you feel." Trenton said. Chelsea snorted and rolled her eyes, her wagging tail the only indication that she wasn't actually as mad as she seemed. "She'll fit in here, don't worry."

Blade was staring around camp, disappointed. It seemed so barren, expect for Shadow, his new beta. He saw her wake up from a nap, and wandered over to her. "Shadow I want you to go hunting." Shadow stared at him for a moment, she had just woken up and he wanted her to do something.
"Fine." she said as she turned around and walked out of camp. Blade waited till she left before leaving to go look for more dogs.

Location: Twisting Briars is located in an abandoned town that has been over grown with shrubbery and trees. It has been long forgotten and is rarely visited by people, though it is an ideal place they abandon their dogs.
Personality: The dogs in Twisting Briars are accepting and friendly to an extent. They are strict on their rules however and obey the leader no matter what, even if it means to the death. They will never run away from a fight and will hold their grown till the bitter end. However, you will never see Twisting Briars start a fight, they prefer peace.
Builds: The dogs in this kennel are strong and athletic. They are mostly a medium sized to large breeds, any small dog is considered unworthy and shown out of the group. Fur types very in this group, though it is uncommon for there to be long haired dogs.
Prey: Twisting Briars prey on vole, rabbits, hares, snakes, wild chickens(large bird) and hogs.
Predators: The dogs have many predators but two legs are less common to be one.

Coleus padded through the forest, twigs and burrs caught up in his coat. It felt as if he had been walking for ages, and fatigue dragged at each step. Although he had been separate from his owners for what seemed like many months, the memory of them was still fresh in his mind. He remembered each of their faces and each of their scents. He remembered how the little ones would cling to him like a teddy bear, or curl up to him on cold winter nights. He remembered the day when a big truck showed up in the driveway, how the house was made empty, and how he was dumb enough to think that he might be going with them. Coleus liked to think that they didn't want to leave him behind. Maybe they weren't able to take him. He hated to imagine that maybe they came back for him, but by then he was already gone. Coleus shook his head gently, trying to rid himself of the memory. The humans were a thing of the past. Now, he was on his own.

But maybe he didn't have to be. What if he made himself a new family; a pack of dogs with stories just like his own. Then, he wouldn't have to be alone. A small, soft smile formed on Coleus's muzzle as he imagined his new life. Sure, he would miss his humans at times. But the past he couldn't change. What he should change was the future. He saw the towering evergreens in a new light now, imagining smiling pups chasing one another between the trunks. He could already picture the bonds formed and the memories shared between dogs he didn't yet know. And as he stumbled across a clearing in the forest, he felt for the first time since stepping foot in the woods that everything fit together. Here would be the center of his kennel, where pups would grow up and elders would grow old. Coleus smiled, for the stars had heard his unspoken prayers. The Beating Wings kennel was to come alive. His fatigue seemingly forgotten, the new alpha quickly marked his territory before setting out once more, his heart set on asking the stars to aid in the Beating Wings' growth.

Weather Report: It is summer and the rays of the sun bringing warmth to all. Prey is running about, trying to stock up for the coming winter. Water is starting to evaporate through the territories, causing a drought in some areas and humans are starting to camp in the areas with their dogs.

The shepard mix trotted through the forest, as if they were following some kind of trail. They stopped when they spotted the white husky from their dream "They say I am here to be your beta?" they tilted their head slightly and made sure to show no signs of threat.

Juno was quiet the whole hunting trip and obviously did better than her partner. She has caught two mice while he caught a small vole. She was proud of herself as they made their way back to camp with their catches.

Ulysses stumbled upon a dog who was eating a mouse "You have better not caught that on our territory!" he growled. The other dog just simply rolled his eyes "Relax, I was just passing through.." they finished their meal in a few bites before picking up their little bundle of herbs to go on their way.

Juno and Mercutio caught two mice and a vole.
Ulysses found a Shaman, pick 5 herbs from here.
