Milo hurried alongside the suprisingly fast Queenie. "Does the meadow seem different now you're gonna be a shaman like us? Does your leg hurt? Do you think we could hunt? Do you want to rest?" His questions constantly battered the fae but she replied to each one with ease.

"The meadow seems just the same, except that I can name some of the plants now!" she chuckled, and "I'm fine. Let's maybe hunt later. Hey!" Queenie sounded estatic. "Isn't that marigold?"

"It is indeed," Lily smiled. Eden snapped the stems and handed them to Queenie to carry. Queenie grinned. She was really doing it!

"What's this? Greenbean?" Carter growled in amusement at the sight of the two dogs approaching the camp, eyeing the stranger with much curiosity, he stepped aside swiftly as Ewan shot him a look.
"Bring us to Ola'keyta."

Chuckling slightly, the bigger dog turned around, leading the others towards the king's den.

"Ola'keyta, we had found this erasi* wandering suspiciously around the outskirts of our camp," Ewan said, head dipped slightly in respect, "what do you suggest we do with him?"
Ormani looked towards the newcomer, brown eyes seeming to bore into his soul.
Something about his expression unnerved the new dog, and with the way he stood with such a heavy aura surrounding him, not moving a single muscle; Thomas shifted his weight from paw to paw nervously, eyes kept trained on the ground the whole time but trying his best to never show the slightest hint of fear.

"What's your name, erasi?" Ormani's voice rumbled deep in his chest, head tilted towards him in order to get a glimpse of his body, "and what can you do?"
"Thomas, and I'm a decent hunter."
"Thomas?" Ormani repeated with intrigue, and a few snickers escaped from the others.

The king paced around him slowly, surveying the newcomer with watchful eyes before he came to a stop beside him, him towering over the other.
"I never turn away from fate, if this is what the gods intended, I will give you three days to prove yourself," Ormani started off into his den, "and if you're deemed worthless, we will either kill you, or you shall never be seen on Forgotten grounds ever again."

Looking out from the trees above, Devise decided to finally put her lethargic self into a short nap, with her eyes lazily surveying the grounds, she opened her jaw in a huge yawn when a snap from below caught her attention.
Looking down, she could make out bushes and piles of leaves, to which none was moving except the leaves that were swaying gently to the breeze. Tilting her head to the side in confusion, she managed to hoist herself up from the branch as she narrowed her eyes.

"Anyone there?" she called out.

Silence.

Just as Devise was about to lay back down again, a rustle startled her back on her paws.
Just then, from between the gaps of leaves on the bushes, she spotted a pair of hazel brown eyes staring right back at her, at first she thought it was a figment of her imagination, but immediately broke out into a snarling fit when another dog emerged from the bush.

"I see you've caught me." the brute sighed mockingly, letting his gaze fall before raising it to meet Devise's, "such a pity."
"Yeah? You're on my territory." she managed to pull herself back together and sat with her chest puffed out, trying her best to appear fiercer and calmer than she actually was, "who're you?"

Devise watched the doberman intently, and from where she was, she could clearly make out the curves of his muscles and his entire body and instantly, she knew she would be of no match to him if they were to get into a fight.
It'll be like a wolf hunting a meek rabbit.

But the erasi just sat there calmly, his eyes relaxed and clearly not tensed in any way - almost like he knew that she was no threat to him whatsoever, in fact, hardly any dogs had ever posed a threat to him.
"Norman, are you the leader here?" he called out again, his auburn eyes glittering like chips of honey under the rays of sunlight.
It intrigued Devise, how he seemed to be so confident and yet so annoyingly tranquil, and atop that he held a rather...grandeur sort of aura surrounding him, but yet she felt like he was the type of dog who could maul any other dog to pieces.

Mystery.

"No." she started, "my king would-"
"Bring me to him." Norman cut her off before a small grin formed on his snout, "please, lovely stranger."

She growled softly in annoyance, not having met the newcomer for lesser than five minutes and already feeling like she wanted to knock some sense into him, but she didn't.
"Fine, but if you decide to try anything funny, my friends are all around."
"Really? Sweetpea? Yours is the only scent I smell." Norman chuckled, "relax, I won't try anything."
"Do not call me sweetpea, erasi."

Just as Devise came near to the camp with Norman tailing a few distances behind, dogs began to gather around them as they sniffed at the newcomer with curiosity, growling and baring their fangs in an unwelcoming manner.
The four pups bundled up behind him, nipping playfully at his heels as they tailed the two into the Ola'keyta's den.
