Rate The Character Above You V.6 (Rule Changes p.735)

8/10 He's not fullbody, so I can't really rate much about him but from what I can see even though full humans aren't really my thing I actually like this guy a lot. I love the entire eye thing going on in his description, definitely something I've never read that's been used before. I like the combination of his colors as well, the white hair complements his brown skin very well and the black cloak fits in. I don't like the tattoos on his arms very much, but on his neck and left cheek are neat. I would like to know about his third eye, though if it's a physical part of him or just there as an accessory since it seems to sorta just float there.

Barok? By darkqueenlulu

A demon dog who originally lived in the Underworld, she was kicked out for indulging in human practices and forced to adapt to a life of the surface people. Over time, she became a "backyard seller" of bizarre things she claimed to simply find while walking around if asked. But, Barok is secretly able to travel through alternate dimensions/universes (theoretically, born with it) where the demon dog is able to bring back a variety of weird stuff that existed in that world to another where they didn't even exist (she's known in a few for being associated with the "evil/villainous people in any universe). Along with that, Barok also gets by being a singer as well. Rather infamous due to her questionable antics during performances, Barok met Ray along with Stellar and decided to live with them.

nine out of ten: i really, really like the dark colors on this kiddo; dark colors are my forte usually. the design is super simple and nice and thats always a plus as well; i like how theres not too many spots to where the body is crowded, but enough to where its not too bland as well. the bright horns and outfit definitely clash with the darker design in my opinion, but its a nice clash i think; like, it doesnt hurt my eyes really, i think its just odd to see. the hairstyle is nice and i like the color of it as well; i think the only things that really bother me are the pink nose and ear insides, along with the facial stripe in particular. for some reason, the stripe that goes down from the eye bugs me and the pink just doesnt blend too well for me; but i mean, overall. this character is really heckin cool.



mother [art by unknown]: mother is an extremely timid and shy guy; he doesnt usually have a lot to say and doesnt like to have a lot of say regardless. he mostly sticks to the back of crowds and keeps his own tiny, extremely small, groups of friends to linger in. despite being such a shy and withdrawn character, he cares a lot about everything around him and doesnt hesitate to lend a helping hand. he feels extremely calm when it comes to giving advice or helping someone or something out and its quite a change from his normal character. his whole 'motherly' attitude is the reasoning behind his name, mother, or so its been said; nobody truly knows if mother is just his nickname or actual name.

From a purely aesthetic standpoint, I'm not a huge fan of the liquid-y texture, and while they look really cool I'm not entirely sure I understand how the shapes above him function, (not necessarily a con, I'm just a bit curious) but over all he's an absolute beauty.
I also adore the little blurb about him and his name, and the species is a nice choice as well!

Ramaru?

He's a prince but he loathes responsibility of any kind, so he often dresses like a commoner and wanders around, getting into all sorts of shenanigans. Ramaru is incredibly charismatic though and has lots of buddies who have absolutely no idea who he actually is. At the same time though, he can be a bit of a prick and sometimes he doesn't hesitate to use his power to get his way.

10/10 ;; Even if his colours are pretty simple, I like that! It makes him feel more natural. On top of that, I really love his concept. I'm kind a sucker for the whole "nobility who doesnt want to be nobility" trope. His commoner accessories are very cute, and I think the little braid in his hair is a very subtle but nice touch, too! I love him!

My new girl? Her tentative name is Lyric, but it might change. She's a sorceress who is really into stargazing, astronomy, and space in general and practices nature magic or something? She feels a deep connection to the stars and is able to, in a sense, predict the future by reading them? Not down to every last detail, but she can sense when something bad may happen, when a calamity is near or something. She likes to seclude herself from society, though she likes small woodland creatures.
(If you've ever played Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Red or Blue, she's a little like Xatu.)
She still needs to be fleshed out, so any ideas are appreciated!

This character overall is gorgeous, but it’s colour scheme... just doesn’t work. The colours are everywhere! The accessory too stands out, and I guess it’s meant to stand out, but this character just isn’t my cup of tea ^^ I do enjoy the galaxy things on its back!

Personally I don't think the grey and pinks go together too well. It's just not my taste colour wise (i'm not a big fan of pink at all). The yellow on the bandage and teeth kinda mismatch too, but that's just my personal tastes again.
Though the design is definitely interesting, I've never seen so many stripes (?) used in the way they're used on this character before!

i like simple designs but not much about this one i guess really grabs me. personally i'm not the hugest fan of the small wings or the white and blue colour scheme. the star marking on the face is quite cute and unique though. it's a nice design, just not really my taste

8/10: i love the colors on this character ! they have a unique color scheme and i love the rainbow ears,
tail, nose, and paw pads. the only thing here that bothers me is the magenta color. while the rest of the character is very light and pastel-esque, the magenta seems too dark and stands out a little too much. yes, it's a nice contrast to the lighter colors, but it might be a little too dark for some people's tastes. i love how the fur is messy and how wild the eyes look. also, the art style is amazing. <3

6/10 -- i'm not fond of the combinations of purple ;v; the base color is quite nice, though. very pleasing to look at. the markings are a bit random, especially the blotch on his back. the freckles are adorable and i like the anchor on his neck !! <3
