^ i always thought it was a bit strange to have classes that long. i realize that some materials need longer sessions, i just don't understand why they don't break them up more and offer small breaks in between. you take all the rest you need tbh, ever since i started working from home i take little 5 to 10 minute breaks throughout the day and it honestly helps a lot
> i hope pigeon gets better soon. day two of giving antibiotics and painkillers and then watching him hide away more or less all day. at least he still eats and doesn't seem completely apathetic, so he hasn't given up on himself yet. i hope he improves and it's really "just" a bad middle/inner ear infection so he doesn't need anaesthesia to get blood taken and x-rays and a CT scan done, but if he doesn't get any better this week, i'm willing to put the money down at the follow up appointment on monday. i just want him to go back to his old self. i miss seeing him run out of his house in the morning to yell at me and beg for food and attention while standing on his back legs, and i hate seeing him tilt his head and wobble around and get pushed over by bear when he's not hiding. this is the first time i have guinea pigs with these types of issues, and him not even being a year old yet is,,, scary
v what is your favourite kind of art (paintings, music, movies, books, etc.)?

Favorite kind of art might be digital art or traditional graphite drawings. Both are my favorite mediums to make art in, and they're just especially clean and sharp and pleasing to look at most of the time. Pencil drawings are great at portraying texture and lighting. It's true digital art allows you to "cheat" in a way, but in the end, you're still making art out of a blank canvas with strokes you make yourself. I think it's still art.

> I have a story! I literally had a nightmare within a nightmare. I was dreaming about getting stuck in these long dim maze-like corridors with blue floral patterns on the walls. The lights would go out from around me and the darkness would "chase" me. And eventually some black mass with two rows of white teeth actually jumpscared me "awake." And I dreamt that I "woke up" from that one nightmare while still stuck in this other nightmare. And there was this regular looking bathroom that just scared me a lot for some reason. It wasn't even dirty or old, it was just squeaky clean and normal looking. But it really scared me for some reason. I don't remember too much else as vividly, but I woke in this hotel bed and it turns out I was staying in one that had incomprehensible architecture and weird yokai people just going about their day. Scary still, but nobody hurt me.

This was legit the first nightmare in years that actually scared me. I've dreamt of way worse and more graphic things happening, but I've only ever felt confused during those. Not this time. I've been dreaming a lot more these past few weeks. I wonder why.

i totally recall a weird dream i had the other night where
i reconnected with this old friend who i am no longer in
contact with. it was a really weird dream though. as for
reoccurring dreams, i never really had any, thankfully. there
are still some nightmares i can recall from my childhood
but they were always one-off dreams.

currently? that does sound like a pretty weird nightmare

lightly today since the fog was so dense over the water i
could only slightly see a pink tint to the sky in the distance
and was only able to really notice it getting lighter around
me. i did spot the dolphins again, which was very nice c:

people constantly repeating things / overexplaining. my mom'll ask me to take out the trash, and i'll say, "okay!" and get started on it, but she'll be like "make sure you get x trash, y trash, z trash, and make sure you put it in the big garbage bin and wheel it out to the end of the driveway," etc etc. i know she's just trying to help but GOOD LORD it just. annoys me so bad. especially since i know what to do already q_q

A ton. I still have VHS players, a record player that’s older than my mother, laptops from the early 2000s that are running purely on hope, and a bounty of other little things I’ve scavenged from thrift shops.

I actually dont like most breakfast food! i usually scrounge up whatever i can find around the house to eat. right now my favorite thing to eat for breakfast is shrimp, though.
