During the summer the supermarkets sell these damn good watermelon sorbet lollies. I could eat a pack in one sitting.

^ actually, the tea issue has a similar function when being steeped as does yeast when it is fermented. when you steep your tea too long, it releases more tannins. tannins are actually really good for you but taste terribly bitter, especially to a sensitive palette. that's probably what caused it to taste so bad.

i think everyone has a multitude of soulmates to a certain degree. your "soulmate" can (and arguably should), change as you do. the soulmate you meet while at your worst, is unlikely to be comparable to a soulmate you meet at your best. that being said, love should not be categorized as one single choice nor minimized to a "chemical reaction". in my eyes, love is a lifestyle; a continuous discipline. you must repeatedly choose to prioritize your partner's wellbeing as if it is your own. you must respect, try to understand, and consciously consider your partner in many (if not all) situations. in summary, there is no "one singular" love in life. someone's "true love" is in the hands of their ability to be disciplined within themselves, and respectful enough of whichever partner they chose.

• i'm okay. was having a rough day, but i feel better (mostly). i'm looking forward to dinner tomorrow! we're trying out a new restaurant that serves gluten-free fried chicken. it's exciting to me because they don't charge any extra for their gluten-free options, and almost everything on their menu has a gluten-free alternative. one of my siblings has a gluten intolerance, so it's cool to find somewhere that they can eat !

i really like walking through the trails of a park in my city when the weather is good. it's a healing experience. it makes everything feel okay for the time i'm there. it got way too hot to go during the summer, but it's finally cooling down a bit where i am and GOSH i am so excited to finally see nature again.

I love all soup, but probably white clam chowder. I haven't had it in years because I live in an area where it's hard to find, but it's always exciting when I do get it.
