Spottedpaw, snoozing in the sunlight on one side of the camp, pricked her ears as she scented Vixenpaw, Ashpaw, and Nightflare. The small apprentice smiled as she sat up. Maybe Vixenpaw will hunt with me! she thought cheerfully. Then another, stronger scent hit her nostrils and her glee faded. It was the scent of death. Looking towards where her fellow apprentice had entered, she stifled a gasp of horror. There was Mistystorm, dead, being brought into camp by the three cats. Great StarClan!

alderstar got to his paws as he heard some noise outside. he was heading out when he heard ashpaw call from the entrance. "Yes? Come in, child." he noticed that the apprentice looked shaken and a bit scared. his eyes flashed with alarm and worry. "oh no. is everything alright?"

Ashpaw padded into the den, pausing a moment to allow her eyes to adjust. When they did, she spoke, her voice quavering. She was sure her leader also noticed how shell-shocked she looked. "M-Mistystorm is dead. Murdered, Nightflare and Vixenpaw think, but.." she trailed off. "Why would someone from ThunderClan do that?"

Featherwhisker padded out of the medicine cat den, everyone seemed so shaken. She didn't know why until she realized what had happened, Mistystorm had been killed. "W-what could have gone wrong here..." She whispered to herself, frightened of what was happening.

Hawk kit stumbled out of the nursery his fur all fluffed out. He then saw what was going on and trembled "M-mistyst-storm?" He then ran back into thenursery, running into his best then shiver, he murmured "Someon h-has put her to sleep."He then padded out and said "Ashpaw!" (Sorry Ashpaw xD)

Tinykit woke up from her peaceful nap from Hawkkit leaving the den.
She got up and stretched herself and learned that Mistystorm was killed fro her clanmates.
She also learned they were casting out the cat with the most votes.
Unlike Hawkkit, she kept her vote private and silently thought,
"Nightflare."

Nightflare saw the kits and his eyes softened slightly. "Go back inside young ones, you shouldn't be seeing such things." He said calmly as he tired to usher the kits back into the den. He could feel his fellow clanmates silently accusing him of the crime, he thought they trusted him, but the clan has no trust at all then. Why do they think it is me? Because I choose to stay strong and find her killer then be a crumbled mess on the ground?
