▶ OVERVIEW

CascadeClan shelters in a small, lush, fertile river-valley centered around a pond. The weather is mostly warm, moist, and humid. A farm can be found on the hill northwest of Cascade known as the Ricefields. Rice and wheat are grown there and it makes the perfect hunting ground. To the east of Cascade is a jungle filled with exotic creatures known as the Wildcries. It's rumored that another Clan lives deep in the tropics, but no cat of Cascade has ever met one of theirs. The jungle is the second hunting ground, but only skilled cats can go in there, as the Wildcries are a very dangerous place. Cascade cats have no dens excluding the nursery, known as the Lodge. Cascadors sleep in nests made of lush grass. All cats sleep in the same area regardless of rank; however, sick cats sometimes stay at the Estate while carrying drizzles and younger droplets remain in the Lodge. Cascade cats can be found in all colors, though some are less common than others. Grey and black-furred felines are seen often, with russet coming in as a close second. Brown is significantly rarer for whatever reason, as is cream. Solid white is much more common than partially white, though these felines rank in between greys and brown. Only shorthaired cats dare to venture in the wilds near the equator, though the occasional naive, lost, pampered kittypet can be seen failing to cross the street.

─Hailpaw and Fogpaw become warriors, after receiving their names and a proud
look from their father, One announces that he has chosen a new deputy. Whispers
spread around the cats as they theorize who will be the next deputy. To no one’s
surprise except Smokefur and a select few One declares Badgermask as the new
deputy of The Fallen. Badgermask is very much proud of this accomplishment and
so are her colleagues. Due to this achievement a few cats who were considering
joining Badgermask’s secret alliance decide that they want in on her plans.
Meanwhile, Smokefur is livid about One’s decision but decides to not confront
him about it just yet.

FELIX'SUBURBAN (pronounced 'Felix Suburban') is a group of cats that primarily are or used to be owned.
They are often left to wander outside in their neighborhoods, meeting with one another. The neighborhood
they live in is growing constantly; there are new humans living in new houses. With them,
they brought their cats, and let them explore their new homes themselves.

Cats are normally some variation of the standard American housecat. They have a softer build
and have a sense of Hedonism. They want to live how they want, move where-ever they want to,
and still come home to something. However: there are some things that will mean they can’t come back.
Getting heavily injured while hunting, having kits outside of the home, and simply being away
too long means they cannot return to their humans.Thus, they all are forced to walk a thin line:

Felix’Suburbia has about two blocks of actual land, cut down by roadways and houses. There is a park nearby that leads into a hiking path; this is where the cats traditionally stay. There is a section of the park that has been marked off, an attempt to keep that one area all-natural and not touched by humans. Atleast twice a year the clan experiences a ‘Restart’. this is when humans teens enjoy embracing prom night or graduation by breaking into the area and making a wreck of things. the cats flee and are able to come back the next day, having to Restart.
Their primary prey are squirrels, chipmunks, and voles. sometimes there are birds and fishes involved, but these cats aren’t equipped for that type of hunting. Here’s the thing; once you have live prey, you can’t go back to Bowl food. hunting becomes common once a cat gets a taste of freshkill. However, some cats bring back Bowl food for storage during the cold moons. This cannot be done often as it would raise suspicions, and is used as a last resort.
They often meet in backyards as well, but in very small groups. It’s not advised for anything except private meetings or visiting a grand.
These cats are experts at dodging cars and have sidewalks memorised. There are some cats that do not go far from their original homes; these cats are dubbed ‘Visitors’ and are not officially part of the clan.

Names in Felix’suburban can be seen as very strange. Each cat has three names, based on how their owners do. Here is an example of a name a cat may have:

OIL - The first part of the name comes from the human owner or the parents. It is highly regarded and respected,
and seen as taboo if it is ever changed.
SLICK - The second part of the name is given at 6 moons. It can be any word, and is the most lax for meaning.
Most of the time, it is chosen by the cat themself.
SCREECH - The third part of the name comes from the cats around them. This name is a descriptor, fitting for
their personality. This name is received at 18 moons. This name can be changed if the personality becomes
drastically different.
It is almost never necessary to call a cat by their full name; any part of it can be chosen as the ‘preferred’ name.

OWNER: the current cat in charge. the owner
is in charge of naming, taking care of, and

WORKERS: the catch-all term for cats that are of ‘working’
age. they are ‘employed’ to do specific tasks. there are...

in charge of teaching them how to work. often
times students also need to be taught how to socialise
with humans, because they have grown up without actively
interacting with one.
