Yeah, I get it. It felt like that for me as well the short amount of time I had taken therapy. Sure, some of the exercises help you in the end over calming yourself quicker but not everything needs to be reacted to in such a way.

> I've been sort of on autopilot recently with my school started back up. I take college courses with ap/adv high school courses so the few times I'm not sort of in a weird state like that it gets overly stressful. It caused a huge art block but I'm slowly trying to drag myself from the trenches and towards the light in the sky that is improvement.

v Are you an artist in some form? Doesn't matter if it's pottery, painting, sketches, anything really. If so, how do you get yourself out of art block?

I like to draw :) often for me blank canvases are pretty intimidating and I like to just change up the background colour or sketch on anything that’s not just a blank white paper until I feel a bit less blocked.

^I wish you the best of luck on getting to know yourself more, and being kind to yourself even if you are unsure of anything yet ^^ Also school can be so stressful!! I hope the classes go well, and you are able to achieve your goals. Just a reminder that there are always different methods to get to where you want and don’t forget self care in the midst of study.

I've never really thought so specifically about it unfortunately... I find the idea of satellites very endearing though. We got a book of constellations recently so maybe I'll try find a favourite.

^ Cs user sputnikzero! Always nice to see you around. I've struggled with a similar problem over the past year. I think there always runs that risk of making people uncomfortable but well that's life... it's impossible to control others' reactions. At the end of the day it's more freeing to live your own thoughts and opinions.

I'm getting back into my yearly Undertale Youtube phase (gotta be honest, I still really enjoy the lore surrounding Gaster and stuff), I rewatched RTGame's UT playthrough (which is absolute gold), and currently I'm watching through Shayy's vods, who does neat challenge runs and stuff - one of them I'm watching rn is genocide run but every enemy is Sans.
^ Though I haven't watched either show, if you like adult animation I've heard Archer is a very good one, and that it has a similar humour to Bojack. It was on Netflix last I checked.

hennessy is one of the little guys i rotate in my mind + his character revolves around love. he's a selfless dude who loves others deeply in his own way (platonic, romantic, etc) but has trouble putting himself first. he hasn't always been able to be the best he envisions of himself, so there's a good deal of guilt thrown into the mix. since the world he's a part of has a bit of a futuristic element to it, he has a lot of work done to replace and/or enhance limbs. his metal arm is pretty visible, but his metal knees are less so. he does not like the cold or extreme shifts in temperature because his knees will bother him underneath his skin. he likes to cook and secretly gets kind of bothered by disorganized or messy people. that's like... the 1 paragraph distillation of what i think is neat about him. u can find some art of him in my gallery

my sister got married on saturday! so ive been mingling with another sister
from out of state and doing that, so it's been kinda okay! (big parties like
that always exhaust me super quick and i dont really dance so i wind up
wallflowering after a while u_u) but i got to see my brother-in-law so yay

My friend is coming to visit me for two weeks at the end of October. We're also going to see Miku live (can you say live??) at a concert in November. That's gonna be fun, and it's also his first time coming to visit me, so I can show him around the city and stuff.
^ Lol I had the complete opposite reaction where I wanted to get out of my parents' house asap (I like their company but after about 2wks I want my own space again tbh). Can agree that starting classes again feels like a slog, tho.
