the air is getting chillier here, but the sun is still shining and beating down on us in the mid-seventies. i think it could be a tad colder for sure, i'm getting anxious waiting for the leaves to change color and for fall to turn its head!! i already went out and got some halloween decor today lol.

Go on freaking vacation, specifically to a faraway place for at least a week. The last time I went on a trip like this was 6 years ago, and between now and then I've had 3 jobs, went through the pandemic, got my driver's license (it was a very grueling process mentally) and went through (and still going through) college. I have worked SO HARD over these last few years that I feel like I'm due for for a journey where I can experience the world, have lots of fun, and celebrate myself. Sadly since I'm still in college and am currently unemployed I still can't go anywhere, but I'm hoping next year I'll be able to go since I'm graduating college this December!

^ Summer has been sticking around for us as well, but the winter polar vortex is already forming and I live far enough north to have experienced it last weekend when it brushed through my area! The nights got pretty chilly and highs were only about 65 or so, but the lows were all the way down to the low 40's! A few hours north of me, a small town recorded a low of 28!! Fall is definitely coming, but the trees haven't really started changing here yet so mentally I'm still in summer, but I'm also super anxious for the colors to start changing!

my brothers’ second birthday. i was 3 i think. my parents used to give all three of us gifts on each other’s birthdays so there was no fighting lol. i got a minty mlp toy, i miss her a lot

^ i have a feeling that always happens with led lights somehow, i used to have strip lights and there was always at least one that was off color lol

listening to nature music or rain sounds puts me to sleep really quick. showering before bed and getting into some comfy and clean pajamas might help you out.

lots of artsy decorations + figurines on my desk. i keep some magnets attached to the sides of it. i also decorate my space with a lot of posters, some store-bought and others that i've just collected or tore off from cool packaging + cards from friends
