stretching out his limbs, the brown tom looked lazily around the camp. he hadn't sent out patrols yet and none of the apprentices had training today.
"everyone better enjoy the break im giving them for today" he grumbled to himself and got to his paws. staying in camp all day would drive him crazy. making the decision to go out and hunt, he trotted to the entrance only to see a young cat come barreling towards the entrance.
"Stop! what's with all this running like a crazy fox" he hissed and stepped in front of the smaller cat.

Spottedpaw skidded to an abrupt halt, nearly colliding with the deputy. Breathing hard, she looked up at him with wide eyes. ''A-Ashpaw... Graytail..." was all she managed to sputter. As soon as she had caught her breath some, though, she added, "D-dead."

Blackblood stretched and walked out of the warriors den. It seemed to be a normal day in ThunderClan, and she the one abnormal cat. Though others loved to leave camp, she'd rather laze around in camp doing nothing, but that didn't make her less of a good warrior.

"Huh?" Falconpaw padded out of the apprentices den. "What happened?" She questioned in a worried manner.

"What's going on?" DawnWhisker asked as she awoke with a start from her nap. She got up and stretched her legs. A few seconds later, she proceeded outside the warrior's den to see what was up.

Spottedpaw laid her ears back as cats around the camp starting glancing her way and asking questions. Had she really caused that big of a scene? Of course she had. You came in running like a scared mouse. Then she shuddered. Of course she was scared, she had just stumbled upon the dead bodies of two of her Clanmates. Ignoring the cats around her, the small apprentice returned her attention to Berrytail.

"dead?" he meowed, a shocked look crossing his face.
"we lost our medicine cat apprentice, and a warrior?" he thought to himself still trying to take all of this in.
shaking his head to clear it a bit he looked at the apprentice and meowed "please, take us to the place of their deaths."
he tried to keep a calm attitude so that every-cat around him wouldn't freak out, but he could feel slight uneasiness rising in his stomach.

Spottedpaw nodded silently and took off, heading back the way she had come. She didn't want to go back and see the corpses of cats she knew well, but she wanted to get away from the questioning stares of the other cats in camp.
