I hope I'm interpreting this question correctly. But I really love dark or grunge kind of aesthetics. It just looks really cool.

What is something that you've been told since you were young that you believed but now seems absolutely absurd?

It's sort of already here, but the general holiday season. Most people think I'm specifically referring to Christmas, but I'm not. I really do mean all of the holidays celebrated by all sorts of people between mid autumn to early winter (or mid spring to early summer for weirdos living in the southern hemisphere. simply just live in the correct hemisphere and stop trying to be quirky /j). I mean, think about it. Everyone celebrates or at least observes one sort of holiday in this timeframe. All these especially special holidays just so happened to be lumped up during this time. It doesn't matter what religion you are or aren't, I guarantee you that there is one holiday you observe during that time (New Year's Eve/Day at the very least surely). What's special about these holidays (most of them you'll notice are religious holidays) is that usually, everyone is trying to be on their best behavior for them because those are very important days to them. Everyone seems to be reflecting on things, being nicer to each other, showing each other more kindness, sharing with one other, giving to one another. Even if you don't celebrate any religious holiday, you'll find that even New Year's Eve and Day has you trying to be a better person, in the form of New Year's Resolutions. So no matter what holidays people celebrate during this timeframe, everyone for the most part is actively trying to be the best version of themselves because of these specific holidays' importance. There seems to be a very slight yet (to me) noticeable peace on earth. And that I think is truly beautiful. If we were all our best selves year-round though, wouldn't that be something? But for now, I guess I will enjoy at least the holiday season, and you all should do the same. Believe in something, not necessarily in terms of religion, but believe in being good and that others can be good.

Anyways that's why I love the general "holiday season". Sorry for getting deep on main.
