Blackbird awoke early. He usually slept in 'til Newtmask woke him up but didn't feel like going back to sleep. "Oatwhisker?" He asked. "I haven't seen him all morning. Must've left little past nightfall." He muttered, sneaking a longing glance at the fresh kill pile.

Acornpaw shivered as a chill went up her spine. She glanced at the leader and the just awoken warrior. "S-shouldn't we go and look for him? He use to get into mess as an apprentice so getting his warrior title shouldn't have changed much." She responded to everything with a smile, attempting to mask her worry.

nightfang mumbled a bit in her sleep, tossing and turning. she woke up slowly, her eyes opening into slits. she yawned and decided to stretch, careful not to step on any cats. the den was warm, and she was a bit lazy, so she decided to take her time leaving her cozy nest. she blinked as the sub hit her eyes, then saw a couple of cats talking together. "what do you mean, oatwhisker hasn't come back yet? i agree with acornpaw, we need to look for him. something about this seems fishy." she narrowed her eyes. "no warrior leaves the camp this long."

The tom had been up earlier today, but he hadnt noticed Oatwhisker's absence, as most of the warriors were still sleeping till he 'roused them all up. Newtmask paced a bit, 'I hope everything's alright..' he thought worriedly. He sighed and approached Snowstar with a grim look, "If you'd like, I'll lead a search party myself, I want to know if he's alright." he meowed to his leader, his voice laced with concern.

Featherflame had awoken not long before, and she could hear voices from outside. Stretching, she padded out of the nursery, catching only the end of Newtmask's sentence. "See if who's alright?"
