oatwhisker woke to a paw prodding him in the shoulder.
opening his brown eyes, he yawned, blinking at the cat who
woke him. "i have something to show you," they meowed,
looking mischevious. oatwhisker nodded, his eyes gleaming.
the tom had just recently become a warrior, and he had
never gone out alone. getting to his cream paws, oatwhisker
followed his clanmate into the forest. they traveled quietly,
not wanting to wake the rest of the clan. the cat stopped,
looking back at oatwhisker. "this is it." oatwhisker gasped.
he had never been in this part of the territory, and he was
extremely curious. "wow, this is amazing. how did you find it?"
oatwhisker asked, turning to their clanmate. they shrugged.
"it's the perfect place to hide the bodies," they smiled and
lunged at oatwhisker. barely having any time to register
what was happening, the cat sank their teeth into
oatwhisker's neck, ending the young tom's life. smirking,
they washed the blood off their paws and mouth in a
nearby pool before dashing back to camp.

watch out thunderclan! there's a murderer amidst you!

Snowstar stepped out of her den, lifting her head up into the earliest rays of sun that crept through the trees. Stretching her legs out as she walked, the leader made her way over to the warrior's den. "Oatwhisker?" She meowed before reaching the den, "How would you like to go on your first patrol as a warrior?" Hearing no response, she stepped halfway into the den. "Oatwhisker?" She asked, confused as to where the tom had gone. He hadn't been instructed to leave, at least, as far as the leader knew.

The brown tabby she-cat stretched before fully forcing herself up onto her paws. Then again, her limbs were smaller than the average cat so one could barely call what she did a stretch. Acornpaw padded out of the apprentice den and glanced at the warriors den, where she saw the leader head into. That's right. She thought as her memory was refreshed. Oatwhisker is a warrior now. The thought of having one less apprentice as a friend made the she-cat a little disappointed, but she was also glad to see that the tom had gotten his warrior title now. She purred lightly as she attempted to bounce over so she could greet him, but he was gone.

"Where's... Oakwhisker?" Acornpaw's confusion left her throat. Was he suppose to leave before morning?

Berryfoot briefly woke up in his nest just to scratch his ear. He went back to sleep as it was still pretty early.
