Burningkit sat in shock, horrified. She couldn't comprehend the events that had just onfolded. She looked up at the queen beside her, her one eye filled with terror.
"I...ah.... I'm fine." She managed to muster.
"Somecat...somecat tried to hurt me. It was so dark, I couldn't see, but someone did. And somecat got in the way. Somecat saved me." She whirled around quickly, watching as cats emerged to see her.

Acornstar woke up and yawned, stretching cheerully before she padded out of the leader's den. Her light cheerfulness changed to concern, however, as there seem to be a worried commotion about something at the nursery, so she walked over there. It seemed something had happened to Burningkit. "Hello Poppyspots," Acornstar murmured. She turned to Burningkit, who's fur was spiked up in fear and shock. "Do you know who attacked you?" she asked, keeping calm but inside she wa also surprised a cat would try to hurt a little kt.

Frostflower sleepily blinked open her eyes, groaning as she rose from her warm, comfortable nest. She had never been a morning person. The she-cat slowly emerged from the den, squinting as her blue eyes adjusted to the morning light. Her gaze flicked over to the nursery, where several cats seemed to be panicking. "Is everything alright?" Frostflower asked, padding over to the nursery to see what all the commotion was.

Grasskit looks around the nursery, confused by the large amount of cats in the nursery "what's going on?" the young tom-kit asks

The tom was startled as the little kit answered the crowd's questions, a cat, had tried to attack a helpless kit. It was horrifying, not only that, but that killer was still alive, and amongst them.

"Was it a ThunderClan cat?" Graytail asked, not wanting to jump to conclusions. However, there was a sinking feeling in her heart that it was someone in their Clan who had tried to attack the helpless kit.

"what's going on?" jaycloud muttered, awaking from his slumber, and getting to his paws.
he saw a small group gathered around someone. he made his way over to the cats and saw
the thunderclan cats asking small burningkit a wave of questions. he overheard silverwing
ask if she was alright. "did something happen?" he asked aloud, not knowing which cat to confront.

Silverwing wrapped her tail around Burningkit sympathetically, shocked that someone would try to hurt an innocent kit. Thank goodness someone was there to save her... If they reveal themself, though, whoever tried to hurt Burningkit could come back for revenge... "It's okay, you're safe now," she murmured softly. She looked at Jaycloud. "Someone tried to hurt Burningkit..." Her eyes became unfocused, filling with worry. "Who would do such a thing?" she asked no one in particular.

Foxtail groaned and got up from his peaceful sleep. What was happening over at the nursery? A bad feeling began to bubble in his chest as he padded over to the group of cats. "What happened?" He asked, confusion evident on his face.
