"Cloudkit," Gingerstorm said gently, "Scatterpaw is visiting StarClan. Do you see him sleeping? He forgot to say goodbye, though, so we're going to say goodbye for him." It was the best explanation, the elder thought. Hopefully, Cloudkit would accept it.
