i feel like i annoy people or that i'm making it into my only personality trait whenever i say this, but for the most part, i think about my characters. i tend to just pick them up and reflect on them or look for ways to extend their stories while still keeping them interesting.
i will say, though, i also daydream about my own life and what i want to do with it. thinking about the future too much overwhelms me, so i'll picture something less worrisome like driving to the beach or to the volcano i live close to and having a picnic there.

^ honestly, toast and butter works for me. if i'm feeling particularly fancy i just sprinkle some sugar over it, slice it into thin strips and chuck it in the oven. it's simple, but it's good.
> basic assessment is the worst class and i, for one, cannot wait for it to be over. it's interesting and i appreciate the skills i'm picking up from it, but the deadlines are so tight and it's exhausting trying to keep up with it when i have so many other classes that demand a good chunk of my time and energy.

what do you usually think about/imagine while trying to fall asleep? do you think of nothing and if yes, how, or are you more the type to have intricate inner worlds to "daydream" about until you fall asleep?

• it depends on what's going on. if i'm having a bad day, i'll probably think about events in my life or people who i've upset. if it's a good day, i might imagine someone holding me or me holding on to someone else. it can particular people, not anyone i know in my life because my brain has decided that would cross a line, but it's usually online personalities or celebrities that i have had a crush on at one point or another. right before i'm about to fall asleep, my mind usually goes blank. i do have to listen to something, usually a game stream or a random youtube video, in order to fall asleep, so sometimes that's the only thing going through my mind.
  
  ^ i have no idea what basic assessment is (although i might be able to guess from the name), but it sounds rough. i'm proud of you for getting through it,, you can do this <3

ahaha not particularly. the only thing i can make is a decent ramen but thats mostly just throwing chicken stock and noodles into a pot so

v favourite film and why

• i don't necessarily have a favorite film, though there are many that i like:
  - scott pilgrim vs. the world: i know ramona flowers is A Problematic Character, but i absolutely love the transitions and imagery in this film. it's jarring but in the best way possible. also, almost all of the actors do a fantastic job. idk if they actually did or not, but i personally felt like it seemed as if they all were having a blast while filming. it could be just the energy of the film, though.
  - venom: it's a terrible movie from a writer's perspective, but tom hardy really puts his all into playing eddie. because of that, it's just so much fun to watch. i haven't rewatched it since i saw it in theaters, but i plan on doing a rewatch before i see the second one.
  - the road to el dorado: again, from a writer's perspective, this film is atrocious. however, the first half of the movie is a Wild Ride. also, miguel and tulio are lgbtq+ icons, and i will love them until my bitter end. OH, and tough to be a god is an absolute banger. i'm not a big fan of the rest of the music in the movie, though. it's decent but not memorable.
  - monty python and the holy grail: genuinely one of the funniest movies i have ever seen. i'm not able to quote it line by line like some of my family members are, but that still doesn't change the amount of love i have for this film.
  i feel like there's more, but i'm too lazy to go searching through my letterboxd account to remind myself of all the movies i love.

My mom used to read me and my sisters A Christmas Carol every year. This has made it a very nostalgic book for me and one of my all-time favorites, although one of my sisters ended up hating it because of the tradition :/ Nowadays my mom just reads it to me, although she wasn't able to last year. I got my own copy of it a couple years back c:
