@Traverser: I am confused as to what exactly that means.
I understand that reboot-Trek has absolutely nothing to do with classic-Trek, for the most part.
It also fails to embody everything Roddenberry had in mind when creating Star Trek.
I am not sure if that is what that means or not whoops.

It was about how it doesn't follow the original cannon. How they blatantly toss away the ideals that are the basis and fundamental core of the series, like how they disregard the Prime Directive in the beginning. Also, the Enterprise wasn't built to be in an atmosphere. It was built in space for space. The force of gravity would have destroyed her, even more so when under water!! The end scene made a bit more sense and followed this, even if they exaggerated the gravitational pull effect with topsy turvy anti-grav running on the ceiling fun.
