My things:

1. TV miniseries, based on books from the early/mid-20th century. A painfully dorky geek from Britain who is basically Actually Three Anxieties In A Trenchcoat kicks Napoleonic French Butt on a big ol' sailing ship while also puking his guts out half the time because sea sickness. His best friend is a damn seafaring theater kid with a thing for Shakespeare. Everybody's doing an extremely bad job of being straight.

2. Video game trilogy (well, not any more technically, but WE'LL IGNORE THAT). Humans in space, everyone thinks humans are kind of terrible jerks, really. One human stands out about the rest, either saving the galaxy with the power of friendship and awesomeness or by being a bigger jerk than everyone else. Also, everybody was so thirsty for the Ancient Roman Space Dinosaur Bird Sniper that he became romanceable.

3. Video game. YOU'RE A KID NOW YOU'RE A SQUID NOW YOU'RE A KID YOU'RE A SQUID YOU'RE A KID NOW
