Spikepaw let out a meow, "What Do you think of my new
training moves? The apprentice asked, the cat whom he
was addressing raised their eyebrows, "Most impressive,
Spikepaw," they muttered mysteriously, "How about I show
you something more exciting?" Spikepaw's eyes lit up, "Ok!"
He meowed before the cat turned to lunge at him with a hiss.
"No!" Another voice called through the clearing, a large cat
Bounded over to the apprentice, wrestling with his attacker,
"Run!" They called.

Spikepaw ran. He was sort of unsettled since he'd just been almost murdered. The apprentice burst into camp, chest heaving. "The murderer..tried to..KILL!" He fainted out of fear before he could say anything useful, and when he would wake up, he wouldn't remember the killer or the cat who saved him.

Robinflight was in the nursery, sleeping close to everyone, especially the kits, to help guard them. Her slumber ended when she heard the wail of a familiar voice. Uneasy and afraid, she lifted her head to see what was going on. There she saw in the middle of the clearing was Spikepaw, laying down. She froze in horror. Was he killed? She didn't see any blood, so he could've been murdered a different way, if he was killed, that is. But due to the clan's bad luck of all of the murders going on, Robinflight could not do anything but assume the worst.

robinleaf was quietly trying to gather up the remainders of littlesneeze's old nest. he sighed as his former mentor's stale scent wafted in clouds out of the dry moss. it was painful to know that he was gone and wasn't going to ever return. robinleaf would never get the proper training he needed to be the best medicine cat he could be.

how could thunderclan be so stupid? he thought as sweeped the moss from the old nest into a pile with his tail. we've exiled cat after cat after cat without stopping the constant murders! starclan, please please tell us who the murderer is. anything. we've exiled stormpelt now- was she the murderer?

the young tom attempted to pick the pile of moss he had formed up in his jaws, but due to his small size, he couldn't grab all of it. he was only 6 moons old, after all. his small jaws could only just barely grasp half of all the moss. robinleaf tried a few more times, but eventually gave up. he sat down and groaned in a whiny tone.

"this isn't fair!" he cried out softly, even though he knew no cat could hear. "i should still be with my mom, or training with littlesneeze, not all alone with only myself to rely on!"

robinleaf flattened his ears and sighed.

"starclan help us."

suddenly, robinleaf heard a familiar voice screaming in a panicked tone. taking a deep breath, robinleaf put on a brave face. his clan needed help.

he sprinted into the clearing to find spikepaw lying on the ground.

"spikepaw!" he yelped, racing over. "spikepaw, wake up!"

robinleaf quickly began to assess his body. he found a pulse, much to his relief. it appeared the apprentice had simply fainted or fallen asleep. he began prodding the tom's shoulder in an attempt to awaken him, while he thoroughly searched his pelt for any wounds. he was hoping that spikepaw would wake up, so that he could give him some yarrow as soon as possible, in case he had been fed deathberries. if those poisonous things were in his stomach, they needed to be vomited up immediately.

"he's not dead." came a rough rasp. when robinleaf looked up, thornpelt sat in the shadows, his eyes as wide and round as the moon. his fur was disheveled, and he had a distant look on his features, ears drooping, tail limp. he was sick. very sick. "look. he was attacked." thornpelt raised a claw, pointing to the shreds of fur that had been displaced on his pelt. "she attacked him."
